What about Marlon Harewood? He's being linked with a loan to replace Beckford at leeds, were he and pardew at west ham at the same time?
-
Hate to be pedantic but Wotte never compared Holmes to Robben it was JP who came up with that little gem

I read in the papers that Sean St Leger is returning to PNE, surely that would heighten our chances of keeping Trotman?

Best game: Either 3-2 against Arsenal under WGS or the 3-2 against sheffield united in 2007 although another notable game for me was the carling cup 2-0 against birmingham in 2007 under poortvliet Worst game: The burnley game last season was horrible despite fantastic efforts from the crowd but im sure there are many more to choose from but dont want to try and remember them

Lol. As soon as I wrote that I knew someone would say that! I was the baby in the pram, he was fully grown and as far as im aware he did have the tache!

As a baby Franny Benali helped my mum lift my pram up the stairs in debenhams

Slightly ironic that at the bottom of the page there is an advert for all gay cruises...

50k does seem very very low to be fair. I was expecting it to be a fee somewhere inbetween 150k-250k but Doncaster really are getting are bargain if that is the case.

First game for me since Birmingham in the carling cup (been at Uni in Cardiff ever since) looking forward to seeing how much we've improved since then. Only hope that I dont bring the bad form back which seemed to leave the team after I left...
-
3-1 though not quite sure why im predicting that score...
-
Im sure I read somewhere that he said he'd like to return to saints and finish his career with us?
-
Dutch/total football?? But seriously, if Wotte is heading down the road is there a possiblilty he may take killer with him as like an assistant or something?
-
So nice to be looking forward to a transfer window for a change rather than dreading it...

No way is that true. We had sold the better performers in the train wreck of a season in the championship (Surman, McGoldrick) and most of the players who were capable of playing at a higher level left (Euell, BWP, John, Rasiak etc). Fair enough we managed to retain Davis, Schneiderlin and Lallana(the latter 2 having not really shone last season and a lot of the fan base were slagging them off and prepared to sell them for very little) but other than that it was a lot of shell shocked youngsters who were not ready for the championship and some of those have been shown to be still not ready for League 1 (Lancashire, and possibly Gobern/Patterson) and ageing players such as Wotton and Perry who are not capable of playing 30+ games a season IMO. Are you really telling me that that is a better squad than the likes of Leeds, Charlton, Norwich, Colchester, MkDons etc? How many players from last season (apart from Lallana and Schneiderlin, who have improved due to far better man management than last season, and Davis) are regularly getting into this side regularly??
-
Dont forget he inherited a very good squad, that had beaten one of the top teams in the league 7-1 whereas pardew inherited a group largely consisting of players not ready and with a losing mentality due to last seasons train wreck of a season.

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in

Ha ha! Now that would brilliant!!! -
Interesting... I always expected him to be one of the 5 advisors the NC spoke of when he gave one of his first interviews about the vision for the club. Incidentally, have any of these 5 people actually been named/appointed. I presume 'teflon' would be one of them being the finance director (if he is still here that is)
-
supported saints since the age of 5, growing up in Eastleigh. Though didnt see a game until my dad took me to see saints v derby at the dell for my tenth birthday. Also follow Eastleigh FC seeing as I live a ten minute walk from there ground and so was a good way to watch footy when saints were playing away. I now also look out for Cardiffs results now as i'm a tht uni there (also finished my a-levels at peter symonds this year!)

Im having the same problems

speaking of which how is he getting on at eastleigh?
