  1. And deprive the bookies of some no doubt much needed revenus ? Hardly fair old chap.
  2. he would have been about err 8 actually.
  3. http://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/u/mali_holding_ag_CH-217.0.137.768-0.htm http://www.mali-group.com/
  4. bit uncalled for, even to the KLsceptics among us.
  5. Leads one to asking the question why do we have candidates for a job that is not officially vacant, or is MP long gone having paid his 2 million £ and no-one thought to mention it. Yakin quit Basle a while back, a week, maybe 2, did we lead him on to do that or was it just a good idea to him at the time. Probably just more tweetbolloax anyway.
  6. Bitter in a depressed sort of way, they just cannot ever see an end to it and so everything that doesn't obviously lead to taking them above Arsenal is forcibly negative.
  7. the trouble with Spurs is that they are forever in the shadow of Arsenal.
  8. Charlie attracts but 2 things, tarts and trouble.
  9. I'm not getting wound up by anything, I'm trying to establish what exactly as happened here. I'd hoped, nay believed that we'd be able to keep Mauricio, at least for next season just as I'd hoped we'd keep all of our first rate players except Shaw who I personally believe is ridiculously over-rated and should be sold whilst the iron is hot so to speak. However I do also believe that i've heard a stream of bolloax from the board from the first day that they were operational here and that many of their words are completely without value, hence my quest for answers.
  10. OK, no doubt the club will be informing us of that sooner rather than later instead of just putting out a "last week for ST renewals" or whatever it is then
  11. but what about reinforcing the squad without weakening it in the first place. Therein lies the rub. Did MP have the offer of the money to do that, which is probably what he wanted. No player MP wants to keep will be sold, Uncle Ralphy said that, so are you all telling me that this was in fact Hobson's choice? Keep everybody and no money or sell if you want to strengthen ???
  12. No not the core company, different direction I think with a completely new set of directors, of which Hofstetter is one. Seems to be a bit more about investment than anything else .
  13. you'd think so but perhaps we're in for surprisingly good news at some time this summer. You could always postulate that they didn't want to keep Pochettino, just as they might not have really wanted to keep Cortese but just said they did for the form. Krueger is a communicator, he might well say anything if he thinks your average fan will gob it, be it his real intention or not.
  14. Two accountants, Hofstetter is a finance man, he's on the board of MALI as well. May have overmuch influence on KL for all I know.
  15. god no, he'll get us relegated, we'll get rope a doped like Derby did on Saturday.
  16. Not very likely though. Just cannot understand the difficult financial situation nonsense that's all. Are they really worried about a few million for a training centre that isn't even finished yet? or transfer fees unpaid because they're not yet due. The woman is supposed to be rich isn't she, sounds like corner shop economics to me.
  17. Also puts a bit of a damper on the "we don't need to sell" arguement doesn't it ? Well that's Hobson's Choice isn't it, sell your better players to buy others that you need to strenghthen a squad that you've just weaked is a catch 22 situation. Wouldn't have minded selling Shaw to get funds though, not Lallana. Means that there were no other funds available I suppose so what have they done with the 100 million £ revenues from this last season?????
  18. I see that Aaron Hunt has signed for 3 years at Wolfsburg, now didn't someone tell me last January that him signing for Saints this summer was a "done deal" ?
  19. just now we're asking for more than clubs are willing to pay, not really rolling over, may change when they all start handing in their written requests. By all account Van Gaal has torn up Utd's transfer list and is insisting on a shedload of Dutch.
  20. they will anyway because of the window for the officialisation of transfers. We'll get all the FIFA hand out money for them as well. With 6 players we'll get a relatively tidy sum, exactly how much depends on how far each side go in the competition.
  21. Who'd just put in a very nasty tackle in a training game by all accounts. Swansea managed to calm everyone down in similar circumstances, we couldn't apparently. It also fell into the plan of action by KL, no one to be sold, so someone provokes Osvaldo and he has to be shipped out in a hurry. I'm sure we could have patched it up if we'd wanted to and the end of the season may have well passed in a better manner.
  22. signing certainly, sending him packing with no apparent replacement for a minor scuffle...not so sure at all.
  23. Think they'll bother to explain exactly why not ?
  24. With a big pay off then, Espanyol might take him back actually, depends if their new tea-boy manager does a decent job or not.
