Appalling show of commitment from our players
Window Cleaner replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
Not to mention managers, how managers is that now that have quit on their job before the end of their contract in the vague hope of getting a better job this summer. A few of them have been linked to us even, Tuchel,Yakin,Koeman perhaps even Mancini, none of them seem to have been sacked, just quit in the hope of finding pastures new. -

Probably just adding a few items to their virtual cart to be confirmed and transacted when they sell Suarez. Once Real get their hooks into a player they just do not let up. -

Let's put it this way, we have 6 (or 7) WC players just now, come the end of August I'll be surprised if we have even one, unless we appoint a really top manager and back him with real money. Don't think that's going to happen though, we've set out our stall, academy route 1............. -
Dejan Lovren hands in transfer request
Window Cleaner replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
You need to get those ideas out of your head, Lyon tarted him around, probably because it's a club full of knobs, supported by knobs and run by knobs. Aulas wanted to play kids who were garbage in the hope that he could sell them for huge profits to finance their new stadium. Lost a good manager because of him being the aforesaid knobbish self and replaced him with the tea boy who has now finally seen the light and thrown in the towel, replaced with a non-entity from Reims. Aulas is French for Rupert Lowe. -
Looks like Mauricio has found the stock of pies.

Dejan Lovren hands in transfer request

What's a few quid bonus compared to Champion's League football and challenging for the PL title. -
Probably because they have their hearts set on Koeman, not that they know much about him of course, perhaps they're amongst those who'll be losing a few bob if he doesn't get the job. Mancini is a known quality, Koeman is a big fish from a very small pond who may or may not do well with us. Having said that I'd believe the Mancini rumours a bit more if there were rumours of us being sold to a genuine high roller, not the case unfortunately.

OK, I could well believe it with the current board. -

but it doesn't date from today, it confirmed (or so it says) a discussion that he had with the club when he was in Southampton, probably before Croatia left for Brazil. I find it strange that some seem to believe that all WC footballers are locked in dank dungeons from mid May to mid July, being allowed out only to play games. -

Well if that's the case all the french will certainly be dropped for tweeting and instagramming on a regular basis not to mention updating their facebook pages. So if you're french and have a pair of boots you'd just as well dig them out of the shed because they might need you on Sunday. -

things have changed since then though haven't they. MP quit just over 2 weeks ago, fulcrum point in the club's recent history. -

Could he write that if it wasn't factual in any way? He could only know that if Lovren's people had told him so, surely. If it came from a club source then it would surely be an acknowledgement of receipt of the E-mail. Probably true, then would not certain statements made by the club be erroneous, did not someone assert that "no one has asked to leave" -
I am sure that they would get over it with a couple of signings and a bit of a hand up from the pharmaceutical and beverage industries.

Indeed far better than the majority of candidates that seem to be being raved over here, Mancini vs Koeman is just a no contest.
-
Perhaps he doesn't know who's coming and going in Ralphy's office. He's probably still labouring under the impression that Gareth Southgate will get the job.
-
Silly you then Bearsy, fancy taking anything Les says as gospel.
-
Don't know, it could well be that he sees it like me, that Lallana and Shaw are dispensable and he can get better for less. If you take Guan's 35 million as a base figure, shift Lallana and Shaw to add to it a bit we could build a bloody fantastic team for next season. Then again Turkey isn't everyone's cup of tea, they can probably get Yakin for less than Mancini to boot.
-
Wow, gone from 9/1 to 6/4 favourite with certain wager mongers then, wouldn't that need a fair bit of money to make such a change or is it just arbitrary?
-
Rene Girard from Lille..........great, permission to change my poll vote mods ??
-
Probably why Yakin has been hanging around waiting for something to turn up, just like Mr Micawber.
-
Perhaps now, Mauricio and I think also Adkins reported only to Cortese.
-
Although that definition is open to interpretation in her case.
-
Obviously can't wait to start the job then. Still handy for some, can get nigh on evens today whereas you could hardly get 2/1 on yesterday.
-
I think you need to reconsider some of the points in this post actually. Insider betting is illegal. Suggesting that anyone close to the inner circle is actively wagering is borderline.

YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS, get in!! Oh sorry, wrong match thread.
