The trouble with Lallana is the 25% we have to give to Bournemouth. Already you have to deduct VAT from whatever you get, so that knocks 30 million back to about 25, 6.25 million of that for Bournemouth then agents fees, player's cut and whatever we may owe Lallana in the way of loyalty bonuses and whatever have you and we'll be left with not so much to sign a replacement.

Indeed, basically if Mauricio should go to Spurs (or anywhere else) it would be because the board have either sold players he really wants to keep or not been ambitious enough with new recruits.
