How can a club with a playing staff as small as Saints not be sustainable on football income exceeding 100 million £ a year ?

Strange you see maya arriving but then he doesn't seem to appear at all, certainly not on the group photo.

Why so many rumours about our best players leaving?
Window Cleaner replied to jasoneuelllfanclub's topic in The Saints
Nowhere near enough for moving up a notch, we have too many weak areas with insufficient cover. 4 players minimum, otherwise we'll be running faster to stand still. I'm sure those that deal with such things know that though. If we want to progress we can never, ever have Gazzaniga or Davis in goal again. -
Did we ever find out why Rogers had resigned and was due to leave within weeks of the " Big Bang" ?? Job not big enough for him? Didn't like the way things were run ? NC had caught him toadying to the Swiss? What ?

Arsenal want £10m Chambers - London Evening Standard

Anyway Wenger's principal target to eventually replace Sagna is Aurier from Toulouse, a player we should have looked at a long time ago as I might have mentioned on more than 1 occasion. 21 years old, can play either side and scores some decent goals, mind you in Ligue 1 anyone could score goals, even Berbatov has scored a few already. 6 million £ for a far better player right now than Chambers. -

Because your average football fan or footix as the French call them thinks that the best players should be playing in the best clubs, if you're not at a top 4 somewhere or other club then it's because you're not good enough and certainly not because you like where you are and don't particularly want to go anywhere else. Our good season is starting to draw attention to our players as are the England call ups thus people are willing to believe that they should be elsewhere playing a yet higher standard of football and there's not an agent on the planet who'd not want to cash in on that. -
Although it's strange that he feels the need to get involved. When MP was being linked with Marseille last week (or was it the week before) the reporters seemed fairly certain that MP was an easy target because his salary was ridiculously low compared to any decent manager (half of what they were paying Baup before they sacked him, thus MP is probably only on 20K£ a week). Perhaps he really does get a significant rise in his emoluments and contract terms if we finish 8th and thus we're just waiting for that to happen.

Well according to the meejah the plane only had a cargo of mangos, 4 tonnes of them apparently. If it's gone down in the jungle and the survivors are living off the cargo they'll all have the trots, won't get scurvy though, nothing like a bit of mango to boost your vitamin C levels. 4000/200=20 so that's 20 kgs of mangos each, 2 a day for a month or so.

But that transfer is always taken out of context. Liverpool sold Torres to Chelsea for the ridiculous sum of 50 million and Carroll was scoring plenty of goals at the time. If they hadn't sold Torres they wouldn't have signed Carroll. I've even read that they really wanted to sell Torres anyway because tests had shown his muscular system to be in decline already and that he would never be the same player again anyway. Chelsea obviously didn't do their homework. -
the quotes come from a telephone interview in Bixenté Lizarazu's monday night programme, Club Liza, I've listened to it and the quotes are roughly as reported although perhaps a little embroidered. In fact Morgan is somewhat evasive on the Arsenal question, says it wouldn't be easy because he has 3 years left on his contract but he hope to play for a top side soon. He was replying to questions about a recent report in the Sun though, how recent I couldn't say. We must have missed it then: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/5447416/Arsene-Wenger-wants-Morgan-Schneiderlin-to-replace-Mikel-Arteta.html

25 next November, cross roads in his career, he's really miffed about not getting a France call up apparently, but I think Esruu told us that a long time ago.

didn't we knock them back in January already because a: they didn't bid enough and b: the chairwoman had said no outs ?? Or was that just an unusually not well informed Equipe rumour ? They don't usually make stuff up, if they print it it's usually got some sort of base facts behind it. So they signed the injured Kallström instead on loan.

Old hat, where's the "electronic cloak" theory then..... Pfff Amateurs

It's the Evening Standard, the instant Arsenal starts to falter each season the ES attributes them to loads of new transfer targets for the next season. They never sign any of them because they never want to pay the price. Then they get desperate and make one or two signings at the last minute, usually at some over the top prce, like Ozil. -
Perhaps there are far more OTH systems in use in that area than you'd think. Doesn't the JORN system have a range of about 3000 km so in theory they'd know of anything going on down the Australian West coast ie the southern arc. Not to mention the "chemitrail" system that no-one at all uses (well when anyone is watching anyway)

Which isn't entirely true, the main runway at Diego must be well over 3 clics, perhaps there's a secondary shorter runway there though. How do I know this, you can't get a B2 into the air at under 2000 metres and they'd leave a margin. You can land one at just over a 1000 though.

I don't know, he certain has tremendous experience and expertise, been on loads of UEFA and FIFA commissions and seems to go to a lot of our games just now 2+2=7 no doubt. -
Pfff last week he was going to Marseille, he's just being linked with every underperforming side on the planet. Think he might actually stay with us, we'll need to up his pay though, 20K a week won't keep him here for long.

A lot of things starting to point towards some sort of Indian Ocean skullduggery or other though. Obviously the yanks know far more than they're saying, wouldn't put it past them to deliberately mislead everyone if they have some reason to do so.
-
How would I know . I don't read Malay or whatever it is they speak there so I've only got it second hand. According to Berita Harian he had been simulating flights to (and from) 5 specific Indian Ocean landing strips with runways at about 1000 metres. It could just be the local equivalent of the Morning Star for all I know but it's supposed to be a market leader for online press in that area. Anyway http://www.bharian.com.my/bharian/articles/5LANDASANDALAMSIMULATORDISIASAT/Article/
-
Anyway, new "news" from a Malaysian rag (take it as you will). The pilot had been practising landings (and take-offs) on 5 specific "short" runways, 3 in the Indian Ocean (usual suspects) and 2 in Southern India. Once again probably just made up stuff to sell papers.

Holland were absolutely woeful when they played the French a couple of weeks back, just totally clueless in defence and lackadaisical in attack. Might not have been their usual side for all I know but some of the players that they used wouldn't get a game in the PL. No doubt the return of Robben might buck them up a bit but their defence was just so bad that they'll need to score 6 or 7 to hope to win any WC games.

We don't have a head coach, we have a first team manager, his assistant and a first team coach. As for the rest I don't much care as long as we can finance it all without it being a burden on team finances. We've made a few little economies of late I think, something to do with global sponsorship etc, a few more quid on the shirt sponsorship and we'll probably be quids in anyway. Still don't understand why the rest of the Liebherr family (ie the other half) won't give us shirt sponsorship . It wouldn't do them any harm and as for giving us more than the 300K pittance that the others are said to give us it would just be chickenfeed to them. Especially as they're said to have increased sales because many seem to mistakenly connect them with Saints. -
After 9/11 691 miles is close enough for an unidentified aircraft, they don't like being spied upon and they are absolutely neurotic about getting hit again in that way. They'd have been tracking it way,way out. Gan is much further away than that IIRC, probably nearer 500 miles from DG. Anyway the story just sounds like utter crap, just wanted to get themselves onto the front page somewhere or other.
