No idea, the French league is very poor overall and even a sack of crap can look to be a good player on occasions because of the time and space available and the wimpy tackling. Nothing against Cabella, probably be alright but wouldn't spend billions on him. Ben Arfa looked a fantastic player when he was at Lyon but he's been very hit and miss with Newcastle.
-
Who the f*ck would want Moyes ?
-
Cabella? Round about 12 million euros I'd expect. Nicollin was asking 17 million € in January because he didn't want to sell the player before then end of the season.
-
So then Hants 328 all out, Derby are now about 60/1. Draw then, Hampshire's slow run scoring yesterday will put paid to much hope of a result methinks.
-
To be fair Kagawa is ineffective and Van Persie gave up on this season before it started. He's only interested in his last World Cup.

I remember putting up a copy of the agreement between BFC and SFC on this very forum about a year ago.

There is a fair bit of press coverage for our players because they're excellent players playing for a modest team with no great prospects of any substantial further progress in the near future.
-
but all the same he has a less than 20% win record in the PL. Whether that's good or not I just couldn't say.

We're not qualified for Europe so UEFA's rules mean nothing to us just now. Liverpool made a massive loss 2 years ago but that won't be taken into account. Only clubs qualified for Europe are affected by UEFA's rules. However the PL rule is not to lose more than 105 million £ over 3 years which we are no doubt well within because we only lost 6 million or so last season and will make a profit this season. What might cause us problems is the increase in player salarial mass which can be funded from the PL hand-outs. Last season we were below the 52 million threshold so it didn't apply to us, it might still not but there I couldn't say. For 2012/13 the organisations total salarial mass was 47.1 million, 90% of that should probably be down to players salaries so we had a good margin. with the 3 major additions at say 50K a week each we'd still be well under the 52 million plus we've loaned a few players out. We're permitted an 8 million rise next season so that should still give us good scope.

No arguement with the content except that it's "the Liebherr" and not the Liebherrs. There is only 1.

Ramos has already signed somewhere else, Dortmund perhaps. If you want players from German sides it needs to be done by now, they don't hang about waiting for ditherers to decide if they want them or not.
-
Perhaps not, we don't create many chances and we fluff the few that we do, still might take one more at least this season.

The maths is faily easy 21000 STx25£ increase= 525000 £ 700 STs @ av 650£=455000£, both amounts to be diminished for VAT of course. What I think we may be seeing less of each year is the number of U11s, weren't they free in the family stand up until 2 seasons ago?
-
Which it did anyway, to be fair to him he did save 1 effort.
-
On the goalscoring front nothing can be considered to be worse than last week because we didn't score any either. Think we'll see Morgan and Davis pushing a lot further forward this afternoon.
-
JWP as well, maybe were going to let Victor sit in front of the back 4 with Morgan,JWP and Davis pushing forward more when possible. Poor old Corky, dropped again.
-
Don't see that we have anyone to make much difference going forward. Gallagher maybe, other than that a restructuration of the midfield, Davis needs to get forward more for sure.
-
Strange thread, everybody knows what our transfer budget for next season is: 35 million, didn't an ITK poster tell us so ??? Mauricio should read the forum if he wants to know stuff.
-
Some might tell you that it's even advisable...probably don't what they're talking about though.
-
But you can always cut back on the peripheral crap, shirts, programmes, beer etc. That will probably hurt them more than losing a few ST sales.
-
I don't think you can fault the investment in recent years, trouble is we've got so much of it so very wrong. We've basically wasted 40 million £ if not more. There is no way you should have spent 65 million £ and have 3/4 first team regulars to show for it. Whoever is or has been responsable for some of the crass purchases needs to be sent packing if they haven't already before they can do any more damage.

Adam Lallana nominated for PFA Pplayer of the year

Excellent news that he's been recognised, pity they'll give it to that knob Suarez though. -
True I did not frequent Shirley apart from the occasional visit to Holt+Haskell or the Shield and Dagger. I probably just don't remember well it's a long time ago.
-
I lived in Southampton on and off for 28 years, can't remember even meeting one Polish person, didn't go to school with any, didn't play football or cricket with any, none went to the pubs I frequented. Surprised at the numbers being quoted actually.

Made a bit of a pigs ear of his last job didn't he ?
