  1. and that's generous
  2. well he said only on Thursday that he was looking forward to progressing again with us next season. Perhaps she fancies a move to London though so he's dumped her so he doesn't need the big house that she told him he needed, personal reasons you see..
  3. 4 points and 3 places in the League, about 2.5 million £. Still it's not his fault that he was thrown in at the deep end when he could only doggy paddle, that's Adkins fault because he had a perfectly capable goalkeeper at his disposal.
  4. why would Morgan want a big house in Bassett, he lives in Ocean Village with all of his friends.
  5. that was enough though, perhaps it was 2 years ago that some old timer fron Andover or Alresford went on and on and on about it on every possible thread.
  6. that's rich coming from you Ottery, still I suppose you've seen the light on the road to Damascus
  7. and why would he not ?
  8. won't bother logging on on Wednesday then, there'll be the usual fallout.
  9. Lallana has always needed too much time, in the lower echelons he had just that but now, well he'll never get the time he needs. We'd probably be better of looking at making him and out and out wide man with someone else, like Gaston, running down the channels.
  10. that'll probably be Reading then, give it a few weeks into next season.
  11. mainly because of your staunch refusal to accept the fact that we wouldn't go down when on 39 points already and that Wigan are not a super team capable of beating CL chasing Arsenal at home.
  12. how is bottling it at Notarf more than any other player then ? We had to change everything and they profited for 26 minutes. The lanky strip of p*ss can f*ck off in my book since that afternoon. The one overiding result that cost us our place in the Prem..
  13. sound more like neutral waiverers though, nothing against that because we'll need more people to fill our 50000 seater. Still don't need any of "the bestest" though. Used to go to Bournemouth on occasions myself when Saints were away, then again I lived in Dorset at the time..Never classed myself as a Bournemouth fan though, always Saints but the football wasn't bad down there at one time and incredibly cheap.
  14. no thanks,
  15. pfff you could find about 80 tyro league strikers in the SO postal district that could score against Marseille
  16. Ah but it's not just about having better scouts, it's also about having better knowledge of the top end market, how much players are on (ball park wise) who has a buy out clause, who's chairman might be open to offers and roughly how much. Great advantage of having a manager who's been there and done that. Last season we started with a handicap on that front and we had the ridiculous transfer committee because of it. Now we seem to have a management team with a bit of savvy beyond Wigan and S****horpe, blokes who've been involved in International football and the contacts that go with it..
  17. probably, it's just about 3 years mid-table PL income. When you add on 3 years ticket sales you get somewhere over 300 million, not counting any commercial revenue.............If we can't make a buck or two on that sort of income we'll look right silly.
  18. Dr Bearsy...is that M.D or Ph.D
  19. PL revenues would come to about that if we're mid-table but there maybe Stadium expansion in that figure.
  20. I think there are going to be some seriously disappointed punters around here in 6 weeks or so's time...And then it will all kick off again...not enough signings blah blah blah. I doubt that there is any new found financial support, just whatever was planned in the first place and we probably get to invest all that we make from our next 2 or 3 PL seasons in the team and facilities......... The players we sign will probably be low cost (6/8 million) high rewards, players who are nearly out of contract or have fixed buy out clauses in their contracts who are keen to play for us and buy into the project accepting good reward for success achieved when it's actually achieved.
  21. don't really think Wanyama is the type of player we'd pay serious money for, he seems to be indisciplined and erratic. had one good game against Barca but that's not a reason to pay 8 or so million for an unknown entity. Let Arsenal or Everton have him, their loss will probably be our gain when he passes straight to JRod 20 yards out..
  22. I see that Dickson isn't playing for Bradford today, why is that, injury ? I know he's out of contract with us anyway but thought he'd be a regular at Bradford.
  23. don't fancy anyone from scottish football, it's such an unfathomable entity. Could be good, could be another Skacel.
  24. changed the shirt without us noticing why not the club crest. Think the stripes are probably gone for ever.
  25. for all the big spenders: http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/saints-chasing-malaga-defender/ low cost, high reward
