look up Mrs Fonte

once again you cannot have Jose Fonte and Michael Essien at the same club, but it' not the sort of thing that FM takes into consideration.

busy laundering a big pile of wet pants

no because to get a point at Sunderland we'd need err not to lose..
-
but the goals they'd need to inflict on Villa would take Villa's GD below ours in virtually every scenario. As it stands we'd need to lose by a minimum of 13 goals if Villa were only to lose by 1 each time. 13-0 defeats do not happen
-
probably not no.
-
keeps them all on their toes until the last games, first one to lose misses out on the CL windfall. Still think Spurs will be the first to crack because they have it all to do. Plenty of games that will help us move up the table though.
-
in any case it would be illegal because not all teams have the same path the final. Once again a side without the wherewithal to compete adequately in several competitions will be relegated becaue they did not make PL survival their unique goal.
-
but for QPR to have stayed up it would have needed another side to be on less than 37 points (or have an inferior GD and 37 points) at the end of the season. Which can't now happen. So all in all you couldn't stay up on 37 points. Then again if QPR had got 37 points another side might not have done so, Newcastle or Norwich perhaps, someone that beat QPR.

loaned out probably, top half championship perhaps. Needs to play, won't with us unless we're selling and not replacing. Players with class should never be afraid to drop down a level for a year . Morgan is the prime example. Could have got a bench spot somewhere but he wanted to play.

Villas-Boas "what a wonderful team Pochettino is building"

I guess he means a greater number of players who possess a superior velocity. In that case more quicker is apt. -
didn't need the gift of hindsight to realise that Wigan with a cup final on Saturday and a rag tag and bobtail defence might not be able to beat Swansea who are a very solid side. Swansea "still like Martinez" they said, however Martinez is history to them now, few players would have been there when he was manager and Laudrup certainly wouldn't give a toss.
-
it's just a light hearted thread. Most of these players were never good enough (or even considered) for Saints anyway, just selected because of their CM statistics.
-
nah only posh people in the North keep whippets, working men keep ferrets.
-
still sure about that ?

can't or won't ...that is the question.
-
you could have tried a double, relegation and Les Ferdinand as next permanent manager, odds would be what in the 10,000/1, in case that happened you could retire to the Bahamas and not have to watch Saints at all. Remember that Icelandic bloke that idiot punters shovelled shedloads of cash on when Pearson got the job, just a random name to confuse idiots.
-
it's just a random selection of names to entice fools to part with their money. You know like offering 80/1 on Saints being relegated knowing full well that they'd find a couple of pantswetters to wager a tenner or so in case it made them feel more secure. Bookies should be disbanded for preying on the weak minded.

Wouldn't count on it, if Georges told Rupert that Morgan was the real deal (alright future real deal) at only a million euros he'd probably take it as read. Might have had someone take a look at him at Toulon I suppose but Morgan was signed in early June if I recall correctly Prost developped Bale and Walcott amongst others, can't see any reason why Rupert wouldn't trust his judgement even above a club scout who he might not have been familiar with.

but they signed players as well, Sigurdsson wasn't a give away, didn't they finally pay Citeh for Adebayor as well? Lloris 10 million, Dembelé would have cost a bit as well. Certainly not short of signings, just getting them onto the pitch most of the time seems problematic. -
Morgan was signed on the recommendation of Georges Prost.
-
ah the bookies little pot-boiler, always mugs aplenty to give them part of their hard-earned. Wonder if Sir Alex will get a commission, will be plenty of dosh wagered on that.
-
Wigan will not beat Arsenal, I'd hoped that all the pantswetting would now be over and the purveyors of said pantswetting not be heard from for a few months. Arsenal,Chelsea,Spurs, 3 teams for 2x 20 million £ earning places, none of them will lose to the likes of Wigan.
