Lallana Voted 2nd Best Young Player By Premier Managers
Window Cleaner replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
There must be at least 15 players who are younger and better than Lallana, he's pushing 25 FFS. Like Bale,Wilshere, Morgan,Hazard,Sissoko and a shedload of others. -
and yet Di Matteo will probably be the first to be offered the job, he'll probably turn it down though.
-
Hasn't done a good job in the PL though, same as Adkins...out of his depth. Catastrophic recruitment and shîte football. No doubt they'll blame the board for that though.
-
with Spurs losing on Sunday Arsenal will have got a whiff of an n'eme consecutive CL qualification against all odds. They'll not lose at home to Reading.
-
why would they sack a tinpot manager and appoint err a tinpot manager; There are far better unemployed managers available than Adkins.
-
Reckon Suarez is due a red card soon, today would be handy.

Not all hysterical tarts at all. Unfortunately the forum has been infested by 3 or 4 trolls (or 1 troll with 3 or 4 incarnations) and they just love spreading doom and gloom. As we all know misery loves company. Nothing wrong with today's performance but if we could score we would be so much better. -
Mayuka has an agent, why they wouldn't be involved I have no idea.
-
except that Ali Dia didn't cost us very much. bloke was useless at the CAN, just nowhere near the required standard for the PL, agent sold us a dud.

They're all carrying knocks our squad is too shallow. Take away the not even bit part players who won't get a game in a month of sundays and there's no leeway. Down to the bare bones. -
No conspiracy...he isn't good enough that's all.

If we had a striker like Suarez or even Loic Remy we would be top half by now. Lambert is too much of a workhorse, does great work but as Lallana cannot score easy goals his work will always go to waste. I'd personally turf Lallana right out of it, put SRL in his place and let JRod be the front man. -
don't know who else we had available, think Mayuka has been cast aside definitively. Steve Davis ill, don't think Richardson appears on any build up videos so may be injured so that leaves err De Ridder ?

their remaining fixtures are complicated, play a lot of lower rivals.Sunderland will either pull clear and push the others down or drop down themselves. A win there for us would be handy. -
Perhaps Punch isn't totally fit

On the contrary, I thought Jos played pretty well actually. -

Played well, dominated, couldn't score, story of our season really. -
Maya at RB? MP must think Frazer is a right old pile of crap then, obviously not aquainted with his front sweeping capabilities.
-
Everton are significantly below strength I think, Howard out for a month is already a big blow for them and I'm not sure that Jagielka is playing today either.
-
the "new manager" needs not to have to play Fox
-
so it looks like they're going to squinny out of their just desserts (getting wound up) yet again. And so to League 2 as Samuel Pepys would say.
