So then any early team news? coach sightings etc. Still concerned by the lack of Morgan and Steve Davis in any of the build up videos. Could start with a DM pairing of Cork and JWP, don't think I'd like that really.

the home defeat by QPR has induced a sort of rampant pessimism amongst a certain sector of the fans. Problem is QPR are perceived to be far worse than they actually are, probably because of the unexplicable hatred of Harry Redknapp. They are a good side on their day and would eventually get results, still expect them to avoid relegation myself. As for Saints, the front men need to be far more efficient than they were last week, Lambert and Lallana were just a waste of time and space.

Jubblies always made me cough

I think he got the point, he's just joshing you. Morgan got a nasty looking trample on his instep last week, expect him to be out for a while myself..

Knee injury, couple of weeks more apparently. Still think we'll be diminished as well

Only thing that you'll get direct from Chaplow in the PL is a red card. Bloke can't tackle correctly, always the same sort of kung-fu,taekewondo drop kicks.

Remaining Fixtures for bottom teams...

He's a 23 year old centre back, 7 million is way too high for him. If Coloccini was fit Yanga Mbwa would be on the bench. -

he's not that good, erratic -
thought I saw Cork in the gaggle of midfielders and attackers, not Davis though so could be nothing.

No Morgan in that clip, didn't he get his foot trampled last week ?

Red card..can't see what the fuss is about...oh right Utd lost at home. Isn't that against the rules though.

the whole point of last night's game is that you're only as good as any player who makes a mega-f*ck up unless you can score at will, which Villa can't. Clark lost them the game all by himself. It's why teams like Villa get relegated if you have a weak link (you know like Fox) it will eventually get exploited and you will lose...Guzan made some great saves but when a player just gives the ball away like that they mean nothing.

A fair number of QPR's starting line up on Saturday have played 10 games or less this season. Harry drafted in a lot of new faces. Boothroyd 1 game,Remy 4 or 5, Ji Soon Park 10 , Hoilett 10 plus a few sub appearances. Most of our lads have 20+ games on the counter.

But we had nothing at the sharp end and they sort of did. You can't win if you can't score and Lambert could still be there today and still not have scored. An off day for him.

Watched the Spurs-Arsenal game. Thought Arsenal were absolutely toothless as usual, no presence inside the box at all. Why Wenger persists with Ramsey just stumps me all ends up, he must have better options somewhere in that enormous squad. He and Jenkinson add nothing, if they contribute at all it's negative.

couldn't be sure that MP didn't set out his stall for a far different QPR side than that which played yesterday. They made a lot of changes, might have been caught a bit by surprise. That's the trouble with QPR, they have so many players at their disposal that if Harry shuffles the pack and comes up with a good "hand" you are going to struggle if they turn it on. They have good players if they turn up.Perhaps the binge story stabbed them into life.

Nope I've complained to the admin about him again, I'm usually pretty easy going but he (and that other knobber 110%) gets right up my nose. Opinion seems to swing from pole to pole just to p*ss off a maximum of users. Just keeps starting thread after thread to be contrite about anything and everything.
-
Couldn't really understand why he was dropped, maybe not 100%, that would explain why JWP replaced Gaston and not Davis.
-
probably all won on bets on QPR against Saints.
-
I see you have cast aside Puncheon then, funny how I do the same thing with Lallana most of the time as well. Chaplow...yeah right yer avin a larf.
-
injured, surplus to requirement...who knows, think he's only played 4 league games for Norwich this season. Probably because they've moved on since they signed him. A lot of competition in midfield at Carrow Rd these days.

think Clyne is struggling with injuries as well, we play him all of the time because we have few alternatives. For me Richardson would only get a start if Clyne and Cork both had 2 broken legs and then it would be a 50/50 decision. Our squad depth is poor, we seem to be reliant on the same group of players for every game 100% or not. These are young players and they must be getting pretty sh@gged out by now. We are paying the price for the brilliant performances from Boxing Day onward.
