To me Burnley faded badly from about the hour onwards and our formation change profitted from that. It's kind of normal, they played Thursday evening I believe. I'm not at all sure that the Saints 60+ minute formation would have held out before that when Burnley were not ****ged out. Hughes got it about right.

Thankfully the T20 farce will soon be over and we can get back to "proper" cricket. I don't mind the 50 over game but T20 is just a slogfest which we don't seem at all good at right now; Yesterday Vince and Rossouw 80 runs from 37 balls, all the others 71 from 83 balls. What's happened to Munro, did he give up on us or has he some sort of injury?

Looking like another awful batting performance again today. Rossouw and Vince make runs quickly but get out on 15 or 16 every time, the rest just aren't T20 batsmen really. Perhaps they're all saving their efforts for the 4 day game which would be a good thing.

Nasri is suspended until the 1st January 2019 so no sane club will take him on before that.

Richarlison is much younger, probably less troublesome and an attacking player. I really don't care whether Lemina stays or goes, he was a pain in tha ass at Marseille when he got a sniff of Juventus and I expect him to be the same again with us. He'll have good games and catastrophic games and I'm not sure that's what we need just now. We need players we can rely on.

35 million? You are just a dreamer. Bloke has no credentials for us to be asking that sort of price and we no doubt know it. We bought him for 15 or 16 a year ago and he's done very little to double that sum. He's not a goal scorer or a goal maker. 25 would be a price that should not be sniffed at...if he really wants to go that is.

I really don't know why you think that we could get so much money for Lemina that we could buy 3 premier league standard players with it.

Everton are in the same boat as us, can't get really good players because they have no status and a turbulent managerial succession. Class players prefer to be a Utd or Juventus reserve than scrap it out in the nether regions of the Premier League. Digne (who'll probably go to the Toffees anyway) has recently said it was a last resort and he's still hoping for something better...great mentality anyway. Everton's awful fans get after their players for anything at all and even if they have a reasonable game they get regally slagged off by their band of haters. Who'd want to go there anyway.

Kind of depends if Lemina is fit to play any too often. These serial injury blokes never get any more reliable really. Look at Walcott with Everton, good job he didn't sign for Saints. Bloke is always injured.

You'd think so wouldn't you. Mind you I had a research assistant once who had a "back problem". Must have visited loads of docs to get sick notes and not one of them ever found the real cause (if indeed there was one). Back problems, the leadswingers fallback.
