Thought Reeves might have found a better level than League 2 even if it's only for a month. I seem to recall somebody insisting that he was almost at first team level not long ago. Need to get our development group sorted out because apart from those who jump from the U18s to the first team there seems to be a complete wasteland area. Millions spent on nothing. Those that are good enough make the step up straight away and those that don't are just farmed out until they find their level.

The League table tells a tale indeed, mainly that Adkins was totally incompetent over the goalkeeping situation last summer. Lost 8 out of our first 10, 4 points from 10 games, 19 from 14 since then. 19 from 14 gives you 51 points or so for a season, comfortably top half. I am really surprised that NC let the Adkins GK fiasco go on for so long.

whoa there, when Forren is fit we'll have any 2 of Jos,José and Maya on the bench plus Mayuka plus players who might be able to put in a decent 20 minute shift like Lee who'se level we don't really know at all. We have enough players for the 14 remaining fixtures.

Yacouba Sylla ? Nah, he'll find the step up from the French second division far too great to handle in the immediate future. If he was any good he'd be at Lyon or Marseille by now. I go and watch Clermont foot on occasions, they aren't very good and Sylla is certainly no exception. If you wanted to sign anyone from Clermont it would have been Alessandrini last summer.

Anyway what I'd like to see most of all is some sort of valid contribution from Gaston and maybe even a cameo from Mayuka. A goal apiece would greatly raise my opinion of them, even an assist.
