  1. Doubt that, he's 65 already and may be looking for one last decent job. Can't see him taking any job that he doesn't really fancy. Still think he's waiting for the England job,Hodgson won't last long.
  2. I think you can put a socket in a bathroom but with an isolating transformer and those aren't suitable for anything heavier than electric toothbrushes or shavers.
  3. I'd wager that the bookies are pleased that Harry is still out of work, makes him favourite for most jobs going and stupid punters give them money because of it. I mean 8/1 at Ipswich, Arry wouldn't be seen dead in Ipswich. I see he's 7/4 for the Saints job as well, mind you Uwe Rosler is 40/1, surely no one actually loses money on these daft punts.
  4. JRaidi obviously
  5. Hard work being an Iggles follower these days though isn't it.
  6. what would anyone want with a pair of size 15 boots to clutter up the place.
  7. It's not Peugeot per se, it's the PSA bank. Government funding to a manufacturer would not be allowed under EU rules. o
  8. and why would they not ?
  9. couldn't make much sense of that actually. Is he saying Danny Fox is nearly as good as Vidic because he has the same tackle and aerial duels won percentages.
  10. no, that's not what I said, in fact the fact that the thread was locked probably made it even more enticing to them.
  11. And against MU we played 3 bonafide CM players, as we did against Villa (well if you count Gaston as a CM anyway). As you say Lallana isn't a CM and he shouldn't be played there. Until Gaston or Cork are fit (because I'm not overenamoured of JWP as yet) we should play Guly in CM with Punch,SRL and AL in the more advanced positions.
  12. Enough monkeys with enough typewriters (or tablets with today's technology I suppose) and you get the complete works of Shakespeare. I'm sure that at least one or two posts on this "spazboard" hit on something like the true situation just because of the sheer volume and variety of content. So if the Echo reports the jist of most of it they might be getting somewhere near reality as well.
  13. geographic more likely. Has Harry ever managed north of London ? I think not. Anyway you have to be able to afford Harry nowadays, £10 a week no longer gets the job done. He's probably still on Spurs payroll and wouldn't take any lower offer whilst that sorts itself out.
  14. especially if this isn't all boohockey http://soccerlens.com/wheeler-dealer-nah-harry-redknapp-has-one-of-the-best-transfer-records-in-football/58373/
  15. so we should have an extra point made up fro two halves from the Citeh and Utd games then, we'll be installing RU bonus scheme soon. Mind you that would allow you to be really, really, really crap on occasion and still move up the table.
  16. Bet Spurs will like that, a player on 100K a week missing 2 games on paternity leave. Don't know what football is coming to, sounds more and more like the civil service every day.
  17. how the flip are we going to get half a point
  18. Hopefully meeting up with a demon crap hot left back free agent that all the world has overlooked then.
  19. If you skate over the Gazza/Boruc thing and assume that Jack Cork is not seen as a first team prime starter (because of the shirt number nonsense) our strongest available team is that which played against Villa and obtained our only win of the season. It's the best personnel we have playing the system we want to play. 4-3-3 although according to whoscored (http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/614197/Live) we were more 4-1-4-1 Gazza/Boruc, Clyne,José,Yoshi,Fox (cos that's all we've got)/ Morgan,Davis,Ramirez/ Lallana,Puncheon,SRL Everybody is in their right place and as I doubt that there's little difference between Frazer/Clyne and Clyne/Fox even the enforced (or was it) second half change didn't petrurb the system all that much. Some would argue that it was better. In this system we had 3 solid midfielder in err midfield and Lallana and Punch needed to do less covering.
  20. once again, it is widely recognised that God doesn't do sports.
  21. dangerous thing books, if you believe all you read in them the world will end in a few weeks and the Americans didn't land on the moon. Any nutjob can write a book and sell it if the contents are controversial enough. I'm sure plenty of people believe that there's a lot of truth in the garbage Dan Brown writes.
  22. Bale would have been about 15/16 when Harry was here so I don't think he can be blamed for leaving him out of the team. That was Burley more than likely. Perhaps Harry has given up on the QPR job already, from what I saw of them last Sunday they've every chance of getting it together soon and Hughes won't necessarily be sacked any time soon.
  23. If Lallana is being given a traditional midfield spot then he's probably part of the problem because he's more of an advanced attacking player than a midfielder per se. I'm sure that Ramirez was acquired to be one of a 3 man midfield with Lallana,Lambert and one other being attributed the roles of the 3 front men. As Ramirez is unavailable we're obviously trying to squeeze Lallana into a role that just doesn't suit him. If Cork wasn't a permafixture in the treatment room this season we might fare better with he,Davis and Morgan in midfield and Lallana,Lambert and Puncheon in attack until Ramirez is fit again but at the moment injuries are dictating to us and we're doing what we can. If we had all the players available I think we might see better results, just like the 4-1 win against Villa which I think has been the only occasion where all (apart from Cork) were available.
  24. Seen this comparison before probably on Saintslist a long time ago, the smart answer then was " I might if I hadn't scored for 3 months" or something like that.
