  1. looks like Michael Jackson with tits
  2. get the free trial on Saints Player
  3. Doubt if Portsmouth will get any more than another 5/6 points for the rest of the season.
  4. to be honest no one imagined any other result than a Reading win tonight.
  5. Page 3 is the new Page 2
  6. Trolley Dollies or Nuns ? But in the meanwhile here's a weather report: Not so great today, turned a bit nippy again with some sleet .
  7. Lucky smokers en masse
  8. ciggy, is that a politically correct word for fag?
  9. free trial Saint's Player?
  10. For us not much changed for the first couple of years except that you're tackling their problems from afar and there are usually costs involved.Lost books become lost credit cards,a flat bike tyre becomes a fallen off exhaust pipe. Then you just get used to it, we have one in England at Cranfeld finishing his PhD, the other is just starting out on her Masters in Marine Biology at Louisiana Lafayette,we don't see them very often but they're still very much a part of most things we do as yet.
  11. Well we pay, but you can deduct a hell of a lot here in France. Don't pay as much as we would in the UK.
  12. Told you the other day, Morgan's dad was a pretty handy keeper, probably decent League 2 standard at worst and Morgan probably knows what keeping is about. It's a football family, his Mum played for a pretty decent ladies side as well
  13. The OS doesn't seem to have much to say about the game,no news at all as yet.Wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to hide who's involved tonight from Ipswich still. However Hoskins scored 2 for us of which 1 was a penalty and Chambers got the other one. It would seem from the brief report on the Spurs site (no team make up for us though) that we came back from 2-1 down.
  14. Trouble is plenty of young people get into what they call 'stable relationships' at a far too early age.By the time they're 40 they've had enough of it,haven't lived, haven't travelled much, only nailed about 2 or 3 partners, kids are draining all their money etc etc.In my view there's a lot to be said for having a good look at the market until you're about 30 or so and then trying the old long term relationship thing. It what we did, worked for us. Up until then I must have nailed about 110/120 women, can't even remember all of their names now, as for the Mrs, I've never asked and don't really need to know. Perhaps settling down early at 18/21 was relevant when the average life span was about 45/50 but when you're likely to live until 75/80 it's less relevant.

  16. Why did he leave of his own accord then? To go on the dole for a while until Rangers can afford to pay their kitchen staff and himself? Really don't understand what you're on about.Anyway he'll not be good enough to get into our matchday 16.
  17. My my, there's a surprise then, the thought of losing 6 points must be worrysome to them.Mind you they aren't that good. If they eventually lost 6 points and couldn't beat Reading and Birmingham they'd be totally firked. Not at all sure that they'll get automatic promotion, they have to beat Reading at least and no doubt Brum.
  18. It's not 'outside of the UK wide' though. No good to us tax evading expats.
  19. And for those of you that can't go to the game or get Solent don't forget you can get a free trial on Saints Player. Hope it doesn't crack up under the strain.
  20. Don't think our results were too bad when RL was suspended and the defeat at Brighton was probably more about Morgan being missing and a sh*t ref than much else.
  21. It was a pretty good time to be young though.Don't know if I'd fancy being 20 again in our modern epoque. Things were good and easy for 20 year olds in the 70s.You got a grant for going to Uni,when you'd spent it you got a part time job, usually only took about half an hour to find one.Every Vac you got a job, girls were pretty easy and didn't tend to get knocked up,all on the pill. You always had money in your pocket, you could get an old banger that got from place to place for about £50.Music was great,Saints had some decent players,we even won the Cup.When your time at Uni was nearly done recruters came round and offered you jobs, didn't need to bother with CVs and motivational letters and all that crap, you just took whatever you fancied or even whichever one offered you the most money or the smartest company wheels.
  22. I'm convinced Sharp will score...don't know why either.
  23. well then they should say that then shouldn't they. Lallana is the club's longest serving active player. The OS is crap although it must be said in their defence that they've improved the delivery of their wrong facts since last summer when the articles were obviously written by a 2 year old.
