Don't know if it's a case of not being motivated at Liverpool. It's just that there are a shedload of players better than Sturridge at Liverpool.
-
Not bad at all, at least we're trying to play on the deck football. Watched some of Bournemouth-Everton and those who moan continually about our style need to do the same. It was just a horrendous hoof fest in which any decent player should be ashamed to participate.
-
Burnley innit..
-
If that should indeed be the case then he's being doing it since he was about 4.
-
But that was in 1926 !!
-
Absolutely, just don't understand all of this negative hysteria. Mind you I seem to remember it being the same at some stage last season as well. I blame fantasy football in all of it's incarnations myself.
-
And we'll probably be one of the 4 PL teams who don't get to sign him. It's just agent crap, trying to get him more money and/or more game time at Atletico.
-
Of course we are. A few more chances converted will see us back to 10th or so.
-
Doesn't lose an awful lot of games though.
-
Who cares really, must say I've never really been able to see why he's here at all. Must be something commercial I suppose and that shouldn't affect anything to do with football. As long as he shuts up and keeps a very low profile it just doesn't matter where he is.

Sounds about right. As for 40 + million for Walcott, soon to be 29 and injury prone to boot, well that's just not going to happen. Personally I'd not take him on any long term deal involving money, perhaps a try to buy loan but those don't really happen.
-
3 million a year ? No wonder he's crap then, that's Championship pay.
-
Sounds pretty feasible. Football is not a greek democracy. Players need to do whatever the manager asks them to do to 100% of their capability. If they can't or won't then the manager needs to get players who can. Oh and having at least one "top player" who wants away in the camp never, ever helps.
-
Or just not capable enough of getting much out of a mediocre bunch of players in a league where exceptional players abound. Spanish or Portuguese league manager.
-
Probably had a visually impaired linesman on that occasion then.

Be in here somewhere I expect. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?57504-Virgil-Transfer-Rumours-Summer-17&highlight=van+dijk#.WkOrpFXia1s

Well he's actually 29 and is proving for all to see that for a dump footballer a contract is like gold in Fort Knox.

it was Burnley yesterday, perhaps they nearly lost against Watford as well though.
-
Then again he probably is.

Not really expecting a lot of incoming activity, squad is top heavy (in numbers not on quality). VvD sold and maybe one or two little other little outs.
-
But there are far better managers than Monk available right now. Foolish owners have sacked them and replaced them with inferior idiots, just for the sake of it, or so it would seem; When you can get Pulis or Koeman for nowt then Monk is toast.

Don't think so, the suspension will just be totally meanigless in terms of missing games but I think there are fines attached on occasions as well. I mean how many one gamers have been fulfilled on meaningless league cup and early round FA cup games that the player in question wouldn't have played anyway. That's where Rugby U has got it right, the ban is for a certain time and not a number of games. 10 week bans are fairly common for not so awful disloyal play offences.
