  1. Oh there's loads. BHA,Simon Cox etc, some even pay the 5£ which is more than some of our very own are prepared to do.
  2. So you've run out of milf (whatever that may be) twice twice in 24 hours then ? Now if it were Cider you'd run out of twice because you live 24 floors up and could only carry 3 cans it would be pretty understandable. You'd be better off living on the 3rd floor and being able to carry 24 cans at a time.
  3. Didn't Gib just explode or something like that? Went there once for a few hours, saw the apes and went to the pub, that's about it really.
  4. Well it depends if you're a socialist or not doesn't it. Otherwise you'd keep servants to do it for you. However given that the Cider is supposed to be 7% and the Lager probably of a lesser alchoholic degree then wouldn't the Cider be lighter as Ethyl alcohol has a lower specific gravity than water. 1000 litres of water weigh 1000 kgs whereas 1000 litres of C2H5OH only weigh 785 kgs or so, so all other things being equal the more alcoholised it is the lighter it weighs.
  5. You should have just bought him a watch, would have saved 3 hours of your life, especially if it's the same bloke who "forgot" to put you on the Glastonbury freebies list; a cheap knock off Rolex or Omega would have pleased Nemesis.
  6. Monk was a player to whom we never gave a chance, loaned him out left right and centre and he eventually left when he was about 25.Considering some of the crap we imported afterwards to play in central defence I guess the last laugh is on us.
  7. won't be tricky at all on the way down though.
  8. Peach probably comes from Spain anyway,so you're probably better off without it.Most of their fruits and vegetables are full of chemicals these days, not to mention strange bacteria on the odd occasion. Their water is dodgy in a lot of places and so is everything that it can contaminate. Only one thing has annoyed me today, cos it's one of my days off,a woman who was so slow in putting her groceries in bags in the supermarket that mine all piled up behind her. Not a wrinkly either, just disorganised to the extreme.
  9. directors are still wrong though.
  10. Well as long as we don't get riots that have left a lot of people injured when we win the Champs League I guess it'll be OK.
  11. You can't really criticise Ferguson for his team selection because of his record but to me Utd's side last night didn't look anything like their best side. Then again I've no idea who's injured or suspended for them.Carrick shouldn't have been anywhere near the starting line up and I really doubt if Ji Soon Park made Barca tremble in their boots.Giggs is too firkin old and where Evans and O'Shea were who knows. He'd have done better to play Berbatov in attack with the Mexican and use Rooney in a deeper role.
  12. More importantly how come Carrick is getting a game?? Looks like they've got their reserve midfield out tonight. They must have someone better than Carrick surely!!
  13. I hate Barca more than United, only Skates and Marseille rival with them for my hatred, 3 seaside towns all full of pikeys.
  14. Aren't Bolton the Trotters ?
  15. Doubt it, I expect Manure to win quite comfortably, provided the ref is up to scratch that is.Barca are a dirty side who conceal it well, United will be too powerful for them.
  16. CMS scored a few goals in the NPC with Posh the season before last, about 11 or 12 if I recall correctly, got to go down as proven at that level then, which is more than you can say for either Lambert or Barnard for the time being.
  17. there won't be any struggling, we'll get relegated with Worcs. Our bowling is too poor to have any doubts about it. Once again we had Lancs on the hook at about 180/5 or something like that, they put on another 150 or so whereas we would have caved in from a similar situation (and so we did ...twice).Unless we can get a bowler in who can finish off the sevens, eights and nines without being hoicked for a hundred runs, it's all over for Hants this season.
  18. Excellent, I hope we've given him a good deal.
  19. Doesn't the Pauli Exclusion Principal make that a non-starter? I'm sure that the fact that stripes and sash are mutually exclusive is mentioned in there somewhere. However half quartered and half stripes don't seem to be covered by that principal.
  20. there are only a certain quota of over age players allowed, maybe it's 2 per group of 23 or something like that. I think Mancienne and Richards are both over age so if you want to hold on to them in the group then you can't have Lallana as well.I'm not at all sure of the exact rules though and it could well be that Lallana was under 21 when qualifying started, depends when it was really.
  21. So then who's ****ged the Hyacinth Girl?? two Lily paps and all that.
  22. Not surprising really, with the crap bowling that we have which is proving incapable of preventing the opposition from scoring shedloads time and time again the situation inspires no confidence in anyone.See our opening bowlers have gone for 37 off of the first 5 overs or so again today. Whatever the batsmen do it won't be enough because they will always be faced with impossible totals.
  23. Even for the worst teams in the EPL the Sky dole is about 1 million £ a game isn't it? Let's you pay 20 or so mediocre players about 40K a week without taxing your gate receipts.
  24. Football at it's highest level has become gentrified, you only have to look at all the grannying about getting the same seat for every game and the zeal over season ticket renewals to see that. Top flight football has become a middle class affair and a sort of social status statement.I used to like standing on the terraces, never worrying about planning everything in advance, just turn up after the pub,pay your money and pass an agreeable couple of hours with your friends or whoever else happened to be around you in the Milton for that matter.Away games were often decided in much the same fashion, if a few fancied it in the pub on a Friday evening, well then you all piled into the car (or onto the train) of a Saturday and off you went. Now clubs want to sell tickets all of the time and impose surcharges on those who don't want to go down that road all the spontaineity has gone from the game as well.
  25. Taking Pulis from Stoke helped us to obtain 1.3 million or so for Andrew Davies. We probably paid Pulis a couple of K a week, Davies on the other hand has probably taken Stoke (and or the clubs they loaned him to) for about 10K a week for 3 years,he's played about 25 games in that time. There's a(sterling?) silver lining to every cloud you know.
