You got to wait a bit longer . Nick Illy was right in what he wrote about keeping the faith regardless.
-
give Nick a bit of slack - he's doing his best and someone has got to speak for the fans
-
Outed, I guess. I still believe in what I said.

I agree but I draw the line at Lowe making footballing decisions. He has ordered double daily training sessions. Now that might be needed but it is the manager/coach who should make that decision not the ferkin chairman of the PLC. And if JP had cojones he would not accept it.

Well done St Jason! I too have had enough of the decline at this club which started when Lowe got involved in football decisions. And we couldn't even drown our sorrows in the Kingsland yesterday as they ran out of bitter at HT. I suppose the gin was still liberally flowing in the board room. And yet there are still folk on here who defend Lowe and Wilde.

A few of the lads need to have a good long look in the mirror

It exists alright and I will endeavour to get a copy. Like I say I only say on here what I believe to be true - idle gossip I keep to myself. For example I recently heard some very damning things about the Dutch duo which is very "heavy" and comes from a very good source but it is very harmful and I am unsure of its truth and therefore it stays with me for the present.

I reported first hand a conversation I had with Fulthorpe - none of it was gossip and I would reckon that most on this forum were interested in what I reported. That is the whole point of a forum. Now because what Fulthorpe told me hasn't come to fruition it is not my fault. I remember at the time I added a health warning, but what I reported was 100% kosher. You might not like my posts but if you posted something as tenth as interesting it might give you more right to throw your toys out of the pram.

Not true - Corsacar Saint (see a few posts before yours) was told by Davies's brother that he (Andrew) was more than happy at SMS and had just moved his girlfriend down here. Hardly the actions of a man getting ready to leave. PS (Unless he had another bird in Stoke:rolleyes:) PPS I know Corsacar Saint and believe him 100%

It would be interesting to see what other CCC sides did in the international break - or even Watford.
-
Fair point I noticed the same but let's face it, KD has a history of not leaving his line even when the coast is clear.
-
Have you heard the taped interview with Mark Wotte in which he admits the footballing decisions are made by Lowe. I believe Mark Dennis could help you out and would save you a trip to the Netherlands.
-
Like I said the sources (note sources) for this are impeccable. Trust me Lowe is heavily involved in the football side of things and try telling the 17,000 who were at SMS yesterday it is not relevant. I would not post idle gossip. We have a serious problem because we have the same man running the club both on and off the pitch.
-
I agree with your post but is it fair to put JP under the microscope when it appears he is not making a lot of the footballing decisions?
-
His excuse after the Coventry game that "the boyse are a bit tired" (sic) did look a bit thin. Surely every club had played the same amount of games so we were all in the same boat. And yet the one player who has been on the pitch the most this season (Dave McGoldrick) is never rested? JP is starting to lose the plot but how many of these sort of decisions are taken by him, I wonder.
-
At the risk of being controversial I think some blame should lay at the door of our 'keeper. Good shot stopper he maybe but he is dire when it comes to commanding his 6 yard box. For me he is only half a goalkeeper.
-
Hey I half agree with you Nick. The defending was shambolic but I don't agree that 2 missed pens is unlucky. Also McGoldrick's miss was not unlucky. We play some neat football in between the boxes but there is no end product and with Svensson obviously never going to fully recover selling Davies was madness. JP is Wigley mark II and with Lowe now pulling the footballing strings and unrest at the training ground because of his influence we are in danger of self-imploding. How long will it be before JP reels out his familiar excuse "the boys are a bit tired". I fear letting Pearson go was indeed a bad error of judgement but Lowe has made more bad managerial appointments than good ones.
-
Nick, forgive me for I have missed your negative posts but you do seem unusually prepared to stick your neck out to support Lowe more than normal. Yes, there is no alternative but that does not mean we should all sit back and accept our fate and the very least we can do is to ask Lowe to leave the footballing decisions to the men he employed to do just that. I am hearing from within the club that he is now invoking methods that originated from SCW and just like last time it is causing unrest down at the training ground.
-
Factually correct Steve, but you and I both know he was unofficially involved behind the scenes long before relegation and I hear (not from the source you might think) his training methods are now being invoked by Lowe and it is causing unrest in the camp.
-
Know where you are coming from mate, but if Cowan had any decency he would have left the loaded pistol in Rupert's drawer by now.
-
Good post mate - I too have been a fan as long as you and I too feel the same.

good quote from the sanctity of the golf course

Well you are not a real fan if you play golf instead of watching saints. Why bother to come on here - go find a golf forum.

Nick could your tongue creep up Lowe's arse any further
