  1. he is trying to make us look bad and failing miserably. If anybody was at fault it was the police for allowing both sets of fans out together. With the hatred shown by the mongs amongst both sets of fans any sane person would have held the blue mess back until we were all clear..
  2. maybe because he works for Skatesmuff and ain't been paid yet.
  3. Problem is, can we start the same way again?
  4. We'll be 3-0 up and subs like Wotton will have been brought on to shore up the back.
  5. If as you say he is so much better than League 1 how is it he can't improve his goals per minutes on the field of play in league 1? We have had two years of saints playing with too many lightweights to surely want to add another. We already have James and Lallana who still need more toughening up. Mills and morgan as well could do with some more strengthening. Yes he has some skill. Yes he has some pace. No he doesn't score enough.
  6. I was stationed in Gosport whilst serving in the Army. I spent many happy days with some young pompey fillies. I also worked there in the 70's after finishing my time in the service. Before the lies concocted by some sad bastards in Pompey to fuel the spark of hatred I was always able to wear saints stuff with no fear of recriminations. It baffles me as to why any football fan should hate another in the way that some do because of who they support.
  7. Sorry, How can someone who ****es on a seat and then gets banned be a martyr. He should have been prosecuted and sentenced to a life spent on his dirty fish smelling island. Banned from the rest of our County for life.
  8. I would expect the club to give a more detailed seating outline before the tickets go on sale. Or hope.
  9. In which case as we only deal direct with banks they may have to wait a while. Shame.
  10. That is plain stupid. We go around attacking people in his position and the club can be punished. His money making machine is broke and about to collapse in a heap along with a lot more of the blue stuff.

    Trouble?

Worse, it shows the lengths a paper will go to and the outright lies that they will tell to sell the paper.
  12. The one thing that nobody has taken into account is the team. If the team keeps some of the momentum going that was showed the support will follow. As the performances continue the crowds will swell and so will the noise.
  13. The 6 I get will do me nicely. It will be the very first game for my 4yo daughter. First Wembley for all the family myself not included as have been to 5 finals.
  14. As an afterthought perhaps it showed that the chapel should not be a family orientated section.
  15. For sheer quality of sound all around the ground it is hard to think of a better game. I remember the party at leyton when barring a miricle we won promotion for the first time to Division 1. The second half was pure celebration for both sets of fans. For emotion though MLT scoring the last goal at the Dell has always taken pride of place. A legend in our time and still so obviously a Saint.
  16. Perhaps they have admitted defeat in their fight for survival.
  17. Trouble is he hasn't exactly been brilliant has he? He has shown us glimpses but he is so lightweight. Standing right behind the goal on saturday as I was I reckon this question has been asked too soon. Because I would say no right now but in a few weeks id he gets a run of games I might change my mind. Now though No.
  18. Kelvin is club captain and deservedly so. However I do not think he is going to stick around much longer and personally I would like to see Bart given the chance to make the jersey his. We have enough games left for the management to decide whether he is good enough. If not then we will have to get us a new guy for next season. I reckon our playoff chance has long gone but now we should be playing our best 11 as often as we can with the odd change to see who we are intending to keep or let go in the summer.
  19. Even if we had only taken one of the chances in the first half we would have been in a different ball game. We would have had less pressure on the players and this could have led to us completely humiliating them. I think it was that close.
  20. Ex Saint Kevin Phillips is waiting for you. He will comer on in the second half and score a brace at least to cheer us up.
  21. Thanx for the reply CHEZ. I saw how a few others had played with my posts and realised how stupid I made myself look by showing my lack of knowledge. I must admit it could be interesting if we all decided to do this but threads might get lost. Though sometimes it wouldn't do any harm. As it happens I am still trying to get the multi quote thing working which might make my life easier. Any way thanx for the chocolates and card but I am way too fat to eat such luxuries.
  22. When we reach the stage where we are filling the ground again at every game we could have two choices. Pompey will be history and something tells me that the strays from outside of Southampton could be tempted to go to more of our games if we were based outside of the city. It would be much easier to plan from the ground than from a ready made stadium. IMO It may take longer but surely would be worth the while having a bigger stadium with easier access.
  23. I answered a post yesterday regarding the stalwart effort made by our lads. CHEZ decides to completely misrepresent what has been said and worse puts someone my id to someone elses post. I have heard of tampering with evidence to put a case but that is way beyond a joke. You will see below the original article with two responses. mine being the last. From this you will see CHEZ has taken a single piece and then tried to make a point for himself. I am not afraid to be taken to task for something that I have written and have been. Probably will again but please at least let it be something that I wrote at least. Not my views, just people paid to give them for the global coverage he beat three players allhands up, got to the byeline and delivered the perfect cross for Lallana. Quite simply you could not ask any more of a winger on that occasion. Notg quite enough of those occasions. IMO Hammond was the weak link today. He looked miles off the pace again and O'Hara gave him the run around. _----------------_-----------_------------------------------------------------------_-------------_------------------_------------------------------------- CHEZ your are a fecking piece of dogs excrement. You have made it look like I posted the remarks about Antonio when you and I know that it was not my work. If you want to make yoursdelf look like the **** you are carry on. I have put the whole post below so perhaps you would like to explain before I make a formal complaint. Mind you with a back four whom will soon be eligible for their state pensions we were always likely to end up with egg on our faces against Pompey's lightning strike force. On the whole Pardew gets it about right in his post-match piece but we can't get too relaxed as Pompey are the worst team in the Prem by far and really only of mid-table CCC standard. If we had serious aspirations for the CCC next year - which I have always doubted - then this demonstartion of last-ditch rugged determination rather than skilful ball-play surely underlines that such aspirations are fanciful. The back four today were unpardonably awful, they got away with it for 60 minutes only because Lallana, Hammond & Schneiderlin bossed the middle of the park so not letting Pompey get their act together. Once that trio were knackered the back four were overwhelmed and their limitations cruelly exposed. Thank goodness it's only our reserve back four these days. The second goal was symptematic of where we were at the beginning of this season. Too slow in defence and when we started chasing the game we had no cover for the slowest man on the team. I am proud and still in my colours because the team gave their all. Nobody can complain about the effort only the missed opportunities and maybe's. I have been less than complimentary towards him but he is still to reply. An answer would have stopped me feeling the need to highlight the deviousness shown by some. I apologise to those whose English is superior to mine but hope all is clear.
  24. According th the FA the idea was broached by Westb Ham and turned down flat.
  25. Did anyone open it? It is empty just like their bank account.
