After reading Jaidi's article about young Aaron Martin it confirms my belief that the kid could have moved ahead of Seaborne and will be pushing for a place in our first team this coming season. I would be very surprised if we spend much on a centre back. That said we need a right back and mdfield strong man. -
Police wary of trouble for Bournemouth game

Tell me you are joking. They will be lucky, no, very lucky, to survive the season in the division. We will beat them both at home and away. They have no money and are still struggling financially. -
I feel enormous relief where there should have no reason for it. It is time the sh1t stirrers tried wiping their own arsenals.

Everytime we see him on sky MLT is always pro Saints. Funnily enough there is always the slightest of possibilities that MLT has been reported out of text. Does that ever happen?

I don't understand why we need the 125 on the crest. The two dates tell us that there is 125 years of the club. Put the ball back on.

In which case move everyone from the Northam to the Chapel and the kids to the other end. Do as all the big boys do and have a full Kop and worry about the others after that.

Pardew has cost us some points. I myself have thought that but even now we can in no way prove that to make it a fact. We are in a far better position now than when he arrived. Most of his signings have worked out for us. I actually believe he can get us to where we want to go at the moment and that is up a division. Even though I have been less than complimentary to him at times.

First we want Mullins now we want Finnan. At least if we made to the top they would have the experience of relegation so it wouldn't hurt them so much. -

Is that not what we got Hammond for, so he could do just that for us? -
I totally agree with you. Even when he stands and watches the game speed by he does it wholeheartedly.

Thugs that throw stones at coaches and the like should at least be banned for life from attending within a mile of any football matches. How the F*ck would you feel if one of yours was on the receiving end and had glass in their face or worse? Sometimes stupid comments like that make me simply feel my money is wasted on here. How can you moan about Pompey thugs doing the same? You can't if you glorify ours doing it. They are rivals and not the enemy. If found guilty they should be forcibly enlisted and sent to where the real enemy live. Maybe you could join them.

All I ever needed was a red and white striped shirt with '1885 - 2010' where the logo would normally have gone.

So you think the money put into the greedy clubs hands is shared fairly do you?

He seemed to settle quickly and will have enjoyed playing in a winning side.
-
He will be even better next season. Especially if he can learn to time his tackles better.
-
They will have on the day Saints play there.
-
I am not greedy. Automatic promotion(Champions preferably) Chance to prove to Pompey that we are better than them. one or both of the cups will do.

Just a thought but if our club started getting numerous calls regarding the shoddy service surely we might get them to push. Bad vibes do not make our club a happy place.

I wasn't at those games but my first thought would be that by bringing on Connolly we have changed formation.

There have been games like the Swindon away where I could have been forgiven for defecting from the Saints fan family. It was by far the worst performance seen by me in ages. That game the team played with no obvious feeling of urgency. No fight or desir was apparent. Just because AP picked the team does not, as has been suggested or implied, mean that I accuse or think he sent the team out to do anything other than win. He is our manager and for that I am still grateful. We have been through a hell of a lot of anguish over the last few years. I agree that as a professional he should know more than us about his level of the beautiful game. We will disagree with him at times over his choice of players as said previously. But at the end of the day it is his job to get the players set up to tackle whatsoever is placed before them. He had already met Brighton but we did not seem prepared for them. Me asking for him to send the troops out to win is simply asking for him to prepare them for whatever is to come. As the biggest spenders we should know that most, if not all, clubs in this league will treat our games as cup finals. They will not roll over without us performing in a suitable manner for the occassion. He picks the team. He has brought in most of the players now in the team. He chooses the manner in which these players play. If it is not down to him to fire up the team for each expedition to the warzone, then whose is it? Brighton played well and with more fire than us at times. Once we had made the substitutions we woke up, so to speak, and began to play much better. A lot of the fans have a modicum of experience which whilst not from as high a level still has the basic necessities. I have already said that the other posters choice of example was maybe poor. but we still have several people querying AP and whether he plays with enough positivity. If we forget a poor usage of the language we should still be able in our own way whether we agree or not to reach a conclusion.

You are welcome.

I believe it was Brighton that asked for the game to be brought forward from yesterday as it was originally planned.
