Yeah 9th in the Prem - rubbish eh? And of course the seasons over now we've lost a game. And of course every mistake made by a Saints player is Mopo's fault. Yeah, get rid of him...we did SO much better last time we were in the Prem when we were changing Manager every five minutes. FFS.

Lack of our two best central defensive midfielders - Schneiderlin and Wanyama. That probably did us today. That and a goddamn awful Ref who missed some dreadful challenges largely from Rose who is one of the dirtiest scumbags to grace a football pitch.

Oh well...one positive is that Sherwood will now be best thing since sliced bread at Whitefart Lane and Mopo will no longer be courted for the job.

Can't blame the management for two of their goals - Clyne makes a connection with the ball and it gets cleared and we're still 1-2 up. Sigs very good long range shot gets blocked and we go in with a 2-2 draw and 8th place. Why we don't try once in a blue moon to shoot from the perimeter of the pen area I don't know.

Poor defensive display once again from Saints - Lovren and Clyne particularly. Spurs stepped up and closed us down really well in the 2nd half - didn't let us play our passing game - we didn't really have a plan B. Shame. Move on.

Never liked the collar pattern or the sleeve ends. Otherwise sweet.

There cannot be a better time for a modest 8k expansion. With the blue few close to relegation from L2 there are probably several thousand 'floating' supporters from the Fareham/Gosport areas for example that would love to come watch a decent game of football in a modern stadium. 8k is nothing when we can take 50k plus to Wembley.

Injuries are not doing us any favours and the squad is once again looking extremely thin. I think they'll be desperate for a win and at home they'll be too much for us IMO - 2-0.

Horrendous errors by Fonte and Guly almost gifted them a way back. Otherwise a great performance and result. Should add that Mopo got the tactics spot on.

And in other news, the new Board of Southampton Football Club announced a new monkey chicken petting zoo. Now where is Trousers with his groundhog? Personally, I will take everything said today with a massive pinch of salt. All I care about is turning up to every home game with belief that my team can win against anyone on their day utilising players that connect with the supporters and the club. I will not judge Krueger yet - time will tell.

FFS - when will it sink in that just perhaps we didn't 'throw it' - the players just played a very poor game of football against a side that we have found difficult to beat. Losing happens. Move on.
