No no, you're being unkind...it was genius...only a mind of huge intellect could moderate a forum in that fashion. Hats off and all that.
-
If true thats much better...SFC in the driving seat and getting the best deal for Saints.
-
OK thanks, now I know what 'moderating' really means.
-
Well lets hope so, but if the team captain - the guy who gets his name sung most by fans etc etc - is thought to be a disruptive influence, can we really believe there's much unity? There seem to be more and more stories of player unrest surfacing. The appointment of a manager to sort things out is vital and urgent now...lets hope for some news soon.
-
Time moves on bud, as do priorities...that stuff may have been important then...but you've got to be wearing the rosiest of glasses to not notice there's more pressing issues of late that make that stuff pale into insignificance?!
-
This is pretty shocking stuff. I and I think many others were under the impression that the spirit within the squad was excellent. The more I read and hear makes me realise that it really was not that great afterall. Whoever the manager is will have quite job glueing it all back together....perhaps there are some misfit pieces that need leaving out to achieve a decent end result.
-
Of course, but are you of the opinion that the timing of a shiny new marketing campaign is particularly sensible given the status of the club at this point in time? Strikes me as counter productive and somewhat stupid frankly. Another example of poor executive management if we're being overly critical.
-
I'm really disappointed...I sincerely meant every word. Mind there's so many examples for you to choose from, I'm not surprised you're confused.
-
Fantastic...you whisked the words right from me. LOL!

To be fair I do see a variety of implementations of CRM systems...good and bad...and at the end of the day it's not about the system but about the data the club are trying to collate about its customer base and what 'the customers' (Lowe-speak) want. The point I'm trying to make is that most supporters - especially the ones that have invested in the club already, would likely be most satisfied with a top managerial appointment and excellent squad additions. Perhaps slightly tongue in cheek, but that kind of market research costs sweet FA TBF.
-
Ah, at last the light has suddenly switched on for you. Good...I'm truly pleased for you.
-
Are you dyslexic? I don't recall writing anything like that - try again...you're losing touch with reality.
-
Sorry, but thats utter tosh...a CRM system is not 'simply a better computer'...it's usually a good excuse for a software salesman to make a name for themselves in the short-term and earn a daft amount of commision for an application that will likely be under utilised and eventually abandoned. But anyway, you're missing the point...this is 6great news if you're some IT geek. My view is that most 'customers' will be mostly satisfied by the appointment of a top manager and excellent squad additions. There, that cost less than f'all in the general scheme of things. LOL.

Can't think of one player from Fulham that I would take.
-
Didn't mean it to come across as a critique of your comment and was actually interested in why you thought it interesting. But to be fair, at least you got to see the shark man with your own eyes. The info doesn't to my mind offer anything new.
-
What a load of trumpted up nonsense. Sort out the fookin manager, then the 1st team, then ask me how fookin satisfied I am. My relationship with the club is not being managed very well atall all thanks to an higher cost ST to experience damaged goods.

Really? Why? Nothing of substance there atall.

Lukaku...would be a great sign of intent from the Board and would completely wash away any feelings of disappointment in SRL leaving.

STATEMENT: Player interest & Rickie Lambert
Saint Fan CaM replied to Saint Rees's topic in The Saints
Well it's probably the best the Club can do at this point in time. Just reinforces the need to get the Managerial appointment finalised as soon as possible. The only doubt regarding the Lambert angle is the assertion that they will find a quality striker - something tells me they're thinking Gallagher, while most Saints fans are hoping more like Lukaku. -
The best thing the Board can do right now is.......
Saint Fan CaM replied to Block34's topic in The Saints
Best thing they can do is get Koeman on board pronto. The squad desperately needs a figurehead Manager to start moulding a new team spirit and strategy as soon as possible. Idle minds breeds contempt (or something like that). -
The whole saga is sickening to be honest. At the root of it though is an employee who decided it was in HIS best interest to sign a four year contract with the club. He should be having a stiff conversation with agent for not explaining clearly enough to him that four years might actually mean four years if his employer wished to hold him to those terms. The Board have done the right thing by protecting the clubs interests it would seem and Lallana needs to back down and concentrate on the WC - a lovely prize gained from being a Saints player.
-
Don't feel bitter - his employer effectively changed so he couldn't stay. Says something about the new Board though. Just hope we have enough to give them a tougher test than this season and can get a win. Certainly the team should know how to go about beating his Spurs side.
-
So let's start with the assumption that the rag got this £50m figure from the Board at Saints. Not an outlandish suggestion right? However 48 hours ago (roughly) the Board were found out to be economical with the truth regarding player sales before a Manager was brought in, so should we believe (a) that Koeman is anywhere near being appointed and (b) that any appointment will be given £50m to play with? I don't think so and I'll tell you why I think this story is bull...the Manager does not choose the players or spend the money at this football club. Not only that, but it would not be in the best interests of the club to divulge that kind of information to the press. Nah, sorry to dampen the spirits, but this is pure speculation.

And therein lies the difference. Suarez and Sterling have not handed in transfer requests have they? They're happy where they are. It can't be about SFC or it's supporters for some of these players - if there's any allegiance it's to the likes of Cortese and Mopo - once they're gone the pack tumbles. Not tying players to their contracts = never breaking into the top 6-7 of the Prem. We've tasted some success in our terms this last season - we've mixed it with the big dogs - now is not the time to roll-over and have our corporate belly tickled! This is where Krueger and Reed will start to earn their corn - it's not too late...stick to £30m...make the circling dogs wince a bit at the very least.
