OK - will be at pub to pick you up at 4.15pm - is that OK? Will be in a red Insignia. Dave

Yer right! lol
-
Can you PM me your phone number?
-
Err - yep - got room in the car. I can't PM you though and I'm not posting my number here - not sure how to contact you otherwise?
-
I had the same explanation today when I went to pick mine up from the ticket office! Not happy as I went out of my way to go get them. I have been told I now have to get my ticket from the office at Wycombe - hope there's no flippin' queue's otherwise what's the point of online booking?!?

That was then. The business plan that ML and NC will be adopting when we get to the Prem will depend on prevailing economics at the time including player salaries, gate receipts, TV money etc. General business strategy would suggest it makes sense to slightly restrain supply to keep demand high. So I would imagine that they would want to build a position of an excess of fans wanting tickets over at least 2 seasons prior to committing to expanding a stadium that was perfectly sustainable when we were in the Prem last time. Or to put it another way, there will not be enough justification to spend £30m+ on improvements with an AVERAGE gate of 30k - we get close to that now...(e.g. demand will fluctuate greatly for lower Prem opposition and ticket prices could be astronomic for many fans) - they will almost certainly be looking at a potential average gate of 35k to make it a worthwhile proposition I would have thought.

I cannot for the life of me believe that the club would make you travel to SMS to get your ST changed over. I would e-mail the club and make your request. They will almost certainly ask you to send your ST in by post for replacement. Try here to start... tickets@saintsfc.co.uk

As I said above, I bought mine today with no problems but have been told to collect them at the Wycombe ticket office. It might mean nothing, but it would appear there are still seats are available. Best thing is to phone 1st thing in the morning I guess.

No problem matey.

If P*mpey get wound-up on Friday :Poll:

I wonder who'll be having the last laugh come this Friday? Now, if I was you I wouldn't be on our main forum trying to wind us up (pun intended - lol)...you should be out on the streets with a collection bucket to try and stave off the death of your horrible little club. -
Plans like this would not come to fruition until 3-4 seasons in the Prem and then 1 or 2 visits into the advanced stages of the UEFA Cup I suspect. In other words, we probably will not see SMS expansion for another 10 years at least.

Looking for a proper club to support or just trolling? -
Well I bought my ticket on-line this morning and then went to pick it up this afternoon at the ticket office only to be told I would have to get it at the Wycombe ticket office (it seems they sent it off in the post even though the match is tomorrow)! What a waste of blasted time and petrol that journey was. Anyway, it would appear there are plenty of spare away tickets. If you need a lift Toadhall, PM me as I'm driving up on my own.

And this... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/portsmouth/7290747/Sulaiman-al-Fahim-exit-plan-reports-surprise-Portsmouth.html Fahim's resignation as Chairman was accepted today. His (10%) share in PFC has been offered to the supporters trust, however they are (sensibly) taking a lot of time over whether to accept his 'kind' offer as there could be legal ramifications. The rats are hastily exiting the sinking ship. They will be in administration by the end of the week I reckon (that is, if they are able to do that while under a WUO). If not, then it would appear they are royally screwed and there will be an almighty battle between Chanrai, Gaymark and HMRC over who gets to pick off the carcass. The players will be left free to walk and find other clubs. There will be nothing left - not even Farton Park will be accessible for AFC Pimpley to ply their trade in the Blue Square. -
Further developments announced on Solent today which are pretty damning really. It seems Fahim is trying to get out as quick as he can. It was confirmed today that PFC have accepted his resignation as Chairman. He wants to give over his (10%?) holding to the supporters trust?!?! The supporters trust guy was making all kinds of excuses as to why they had to look very carefully at the offer etc.!!!! LOL - seems even their 'best' supporters don't want the responsibility of ownership, but who could blame them - who would want to be holding the sh1tty end of the stick when it gets passed to you?! Fahim's hasty withdrawal can only mean one thing - he KNOWS the end is nigh and wants nothing of it. And in turn, the supporters trust people must be VERY wary of the consequences of owning a piece of the extremely dodgy dogs dinner that is PFC!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/portsmouth/7290747/Sulaiman-al-Fahim-exit-plan-reports-surprise-Portsmouth.html

Fabulous post - enjoyable read.

The roof on the left where the extension is is rubbish! Most peeps in the lower part of the stand (i.e. row z down) would get soaked in a downpour. I would only condone a Kingsland expansion if there was no adverse affect on the roof. Anyway, I suspect if there is SMS redevelopment money available, it will initially be spent on conversions to allow the away supporters to be segregated in the Chapel/Kingsland corner.

Just bought a ticket - looks like I could be driving up on my own though. ): Are we under cover and what's parking like up there near the ground?
-
Just done mine. It took a few trys to get to the login page (keep clicking the link) but there eventually. Two tickets in blocks 140-144 @ £44 - hoping we might get on TV! It's going to be a great day and I can't wait for Hammond to lift our 1st proper trophy since 1976.
-
Difficult - I think it's far too early to tell whether we could perform as good or better without him, so for now the answer is NO. However, do you drop an in-form player? No, unless you have a Directive from the Board from some reason, or the player himself requests to be rested for some reason.
-
I would like to think that we have the players and the team consistency to make a good go of it. However, one thing not mentioned so far is the state of many club pitches and how it favours a style of play (not really ours TBH). Someone said that Huddersfield have 5 of the top 6 clubs to play - well that might be better for them as the pitches will be in better condition. We're having to go to places where the pitch has been ravaged by a bad winter and no funds to repair them properly, meaning a tough playing surface. This will not suit our style of play and will cause the players to tire quicker meaning more subs (possibly leading to lack of consistency). It's not going to be easy atall - lots of obstacles, but I do hope that AP and his team are ignoring what might happen and staying focussed on winning. If that's the case then we'll have the best chance we could hope for and I for one will be happy with that alone this season.
-
If you added up all the time given over to Saints games all season on that show, you would be lucky to be able to make up 15 minutes. I just wait until its on i-player and fast forward to the clip of us (and perhaps a couple of other key games). Miss out all the other rubbish.
-
Great win! And that's off the back of a 1-4 loss to the mongs down the road. AP has done a great job bringing in all the right pieces of the jigsaw to make us a fantastic team - in fact the best team in this league.
-
AP really is the real deal Manager - he has put together all the right jigsaw pieces for this team to be a real force in this league and possibly right through the CCC too.
-
Saints trying to hold the ball up. Norwich still fouling - shocking challenge on Hammond - worse than sending off - and only a booking!!! Ref bottling it.
