I would say so too. Fry has said Pinnacle have not re-opened discussions yet. ** BUT! Solent also said that when asked if Pinnacle were the bidder, Fry said "not as far as I can tell" or something similar. Struck me as a strange response - I mean surely he f-ing well knows who he's dealing with?!?

Solent talking about a "statement" from Fry this morning. I think they believe it might be THE statement we've been waiting for, but I am not confident it will be anything other than to confirm he's got someone interested and because we've sold Surman, he can extend the period before he liquidates.

Apparently Fry would not confirm who the consortium is. Just hope he gets it done quick and its a good deal for Saints. Still hopeful actually because the club is still being run as a club - just.

About 8.00am this morning...more at 8.30am news... Fry has told them this AM that he is "moving rapidly ahead with a consortium". Mmmm....

Mmm, an interesting turn of events and Wotte should be applauded for sticking with Saints. Indeed - and IF MLT/Pinnacle start to achieve some success by taking us back to the top of the CCC, I would not be surprised if a decent offer is made to buy us out again by some big guns. The interseting thing is, would MLT be able to stand aside when push came to shove and we need the investment to move to the 'next level'?

Numb to it and wishing I could stop checking the OS/here/other sites for news, but I like all that frequent these pages care about the club and what its demise means to our home town. Please guys - lets do this and do it now - the 11th hour surely is upon us.
