  1. Lowe has effectively killed this club and in not renewing Pearson's contract he has probably driven the final nails into the coffin. Sorry but to say get over it means not to care about the future of the club imho.
  2. 'Lay Down' by Melanie would be my entry song. OK for you Timmy?
  3. Thanks Weston - presumably it's going to be down to attendances over the next few weeks then. All of the other income and expenditure is going to be predictable and we can't sell anyone and next seasons ST's aren't for sale yet.
  4. I agree with what Trousers said. The club won't be scheduling a press conference ahead of telling the Stock Market about going into Administration. Anyway don't the Echo get all their Saints exclusives from here? IMHO it's still a question of when and not if we go into admin as I don't doubt Weston's sources are telling him.
  5. We also criticised Wilde last time he came on here masquerading as a fan. Q1. Why would a genuine Wolves fan register on here over 12 months ago and not post until now? A. He wouldn't. Q2. Why would a Saints Director register a new name on here over 12 months ago and not use it until now? A. He's feeling unloved and needs attention. All IMHO of course.
  6. So SB is a Wolves fan who registered on this site on December 2007 and has left it a full 14 months to make his first post. That's foresight for you. It looks like saint marc under another user name promoting his own ideas on here yet again.
  7. I presume this is the incident: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4160140.Knife_attack_outside_St_Mary_s_Stadium/
  8. Hope I'm one of the former. Well done Wotte. It's a terrific result and I hope he continues to prove me wrong (even more particularly on Tuesday as her indoors is a Tractor Girl).
  9. Blimey you're Mr Positive Thinking aren't you? ...or delusional of course.
  10. Trouble is, one BNP supporter looks much the same as another NF supporter. Maybe SF76 and Cushty Bloke are interchangeable?
  11. I think the biggest mistake was not appointing a National Front supporting Burger King supervisor as Chairman.
  12. I think a big boardroom souffle is just the ticket to unify all the shareholders. Perhaps Mary can cook? (My vote for Teh LLS Award for the person who has done most to massacre the English language this year goes to Frank's Cousin.)
  13. It's a fair point but 1. It's far too late and 2. Even if the club does last out the season in it's current form Lowe and Wilde would veto any fan representation on the board imho.
  14. Has Pearson actually said this to anyone publicly? It seems pretty certain that Lowe had decided on Wotte and Poorto well before he took over again. I just wondered whether he really is so devious and underhand that he would give Pearson completely the wrong impression about his future. Maybe he'd had enough of getting shiners from managers he was letting go.
  15. You are - we were told it would be flexible interchangeable Dutch total football management. Wotte WAS involved. Mind you Lowe was choosing the team which rather puts the kybosh on things anyway.
  16. I'm sure that's a fair assessment. At least the bar steward is losing a few feathers from his nest as regards the share price. That's probably the only good thing about the club's current situation.
  17. Isn't she lovely - not a hair out of place.
  18. Perhaps they don't want us to know Lowe is on holiday in Budapest?
  19. Agree with first part of this. Who is calling who's bluff though? Crouch NEVER offered to loan £6 million so how are they calling his bluff and in what way does he have a weak hand?. They may as well have asked for £60 million. Crouch is a successful businessman not a fool. It probably illustrates how comitted Lowe and Wilde are though. I wonder if they offered ANY funds to help the club out? I suspect not.
  20. A bit of a dodgy title there MB. Crouch has been offering to put £2 million in if the two bandits matched it for weeks. They won't do it, so it's stalemate.
  21. This story is intriguing. It's either the biggest non story since LLS / St David times (is he still around?) or it's the biggest example yet of the disdain that Lowe feels for fans, in not declaring the guy's role at the club. Presumably if he is on the pay-roll SLH shareholder should have the right to know he's here?
  22. Bloody hell FC. I waded through all that and I still don't know what you thought about Jonathan Ross' comeback. Just think a week of his wages from the BBC (our licence money) and Saints would have no financial difficulties. The Rupert Lowe Show is what we need.
  23. I'm really pleased for Pearson - he seemed a decent, straight forward and honest guy. A football man through and through. Right now I actually feel glad that he didn't stick around long enough for Lowe to be able to f*ck up his career.
  24. Rational Rich - can you comment on my Post #41 above please? Thanks for your earlier clarification about Voluntary Agreements (I had got the wrong end of a stick). As I understand it from the link below, Saints Directors could propose a CVA and thereby restructure the debts without going into Administration providing 75% of the creditors by value agree.
