  1. I hate to p!ss on your miserable sash-hating parade, but the shirt in your avatar has a sash on the back, where as our kit does not.
  2. Had Germany to score four or more goals at 7/1 the other day, but then wasted my money by stupidly betting on Italy to win.
  3. Just a warning- The cuffs are really tight so if you like to roll your sleeves up you may have some difficulty!
  4. One of the blokes on 606, who works for the BBC, describes him as 'the Gareth Bale of League One'. Let's hope so!
  5. Paul Wotton drinks rum and coke 2 at a time
  6. As other have suggested, success on the pitch and the value of the club are 'inextricably linked' (remember that phrase?!). Similarly, if the supporters -in essence the customers- are not happy, they are not putting money into the club, and therefore the club doesn't have such a great value. Therefore if Markus simply saw us as a way of making money - which I would neither be surprised or particularly disappointed with- I would not be too worried, as it is vital that the team keep performing and the supporters keep coming to the game and spending money on the club for its value to rise. I'm not sure whether the bit about legal action is a hint at something, but if it is that would certainly be slightly worrying as it would perhaps suggest there is something being hidden from us. However, as long as the team on the pitch continues to progress, I'm more than happy to know Markus is probably looking to make a profit eventually, as we would undoubtedly be left in a better position when he left than when he bought us. I do think it is good that we are asking these kind of questions though, providing we keep it 'hypothetical' and do not cause unnecessary rifts between fans and the club. I'd much rather we made enquiries and were cautious in our enjoyment of Markus' money than end up deep in the sh!t like the rabble down the road.
  7. just posted this on the new kit thread- new keeper kit.
  8. Got mine today- it's top notch. Was going to get a long sleeved one but it was pretty hard to roll the sleeves up as the cuffs are so tight so went for short sleeves in the end. Not sure if this has already been posted, but for those who haven't seen the keeper kit yet:
  9. Put a fiver on Germany to score 4 or more at 7/1, only £35 but every little helps.
  10. Sash ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, saviour of the universe
  11. I'm tempted to get something on the back, even though it is slightly childish, but not sure what to get. Don't really want a current player, or my own name. Might just get the number 7. Is it stupid to get an old player's name on a new kit? Might get Le Tissier...
  12. They certainly do!
  13. I'm amazed that people keep saying stuff like 'we don't look like Southampton anymore' when we've known for months that it was going to be a sash kit. :smt102
  14. About to place an accumulator, just not sure to do about France/Uruguay/Mexico. Edit: Can someone decide for me please?!
  15. Me too
  16. Thanks! It doesn't look so comic relief now IMO.
  17. On that new video you get a good view of the badge and to be fair it looks a lot better on the kit than on a computer screen.
  18. No.
  19. Was going to do the same, the only one I'm not sure about is Brazil.
  20. I can confirm that 'sick' is a good thing.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ4axo9rmJY :yawinkle:
  22. On the video, the '125' on the badge at the beginning is in a different font and is gold rather than white, which looks a lot better. Unfortunately it looks as if the badge on the shirt has the comedy white writing.
  23. Love it!
