Oh yeah, cheers. I was the first one to comment on that FFS! Memory is awful.

Was it just a member of staff who told you that or David Luker? Not saying you/they're lying, just wondering.
-
Okay!

Excellent, really can't wait for this one now.

:smt017 Anyone else see a slight disadvantage for Heather Mills?!

Been mentioned before, would certainly be worth a shout IMO.

Get Rage Against the Machine to Xmas No.1

Yes but I think that by him being on X Factor, he is not judged only on his musical talent, or indeed on the particular song that he's released. In my opinion, many of the people who bought his single were going to buy it whatever it was; he could have been singing Killing in the name. Even with people like Simon Cowell promoting these bands in the 50's, 60's and 70's, I think they were still judged on their musical talents and the quality of their single, rather than their appearance on a show. -
Brilliant performance in a brilliant film.

That happens to be the one game that I've missed this season, so it may well be the case that we have seen very different performances in the last few weeks! I agree that we need more strength in depth, as I feel if you compare our bench to Leeds', you can see how they are, understandably, ahead of us in terms of progress to the next league.
-
Did you go yesterday? He was like a headless chicken, and gave away possession more times than any other player. Every attempted clearance he made was sliced straight up in the air, putting pressure right back on us. By far the worse player on the pitch, and IMO not the first time this season, when playing at CM. If he truly is as talented there as you seem to think then maybe the team around him needs to be changed, as it certainly isn't working at the moment.
-
Definitely Waigo or Antonio, but good to have another option.
-
I think he may have some prospect playing right mid, but anyone who still thinks his better role is in the middle, which I hear people on here say quite often, is deluded and clearly haven't seen him play there.
-
Wrong I'm afraid, we really missed him; James was pretty poor today. You obviously haven't seen the new improved Schneiderlin under AP. He's been strong, getting tackles in, winning balls, picking up second balls and his range of passing is a huge asset to the team. And if by conditions you mean the weather that's a silly argument, just look at Southend away when it was much worse playing conditions then today.

I'm sure someone on here will have a spare ticket if you keep your eyes peeled -
Sound like losers to me, I expect they were bullied at school and feel the need to reaffirm their perceived social and intellectual status to themselves at every given opportunity as a consequence.

Just had an email from the ever helpful David Luker, just under 1900 sold and not likely to rise much higher. Still not bad at all. -
I'm pretty worried about James at RB for this one, as they do a lot of their attacking down their left flank, through Snodgrass. I would be tempted to play Thomas there if I was AP, as at least he is strong, so could potentially keep him quiet. All I can see James doing is getting caught out and giving away freekicks and penalties.

Pardew's doing exactly the right thing in playing bigging up Leeds and playing down our chances. We can now really go there and 'let our hair down' as he said. And when we let our hair down and play in a relaxed style, we're good. You only have to look at the Walsall game to see that.
-
Agreed. Whilst we have as good a chance as ever to be able to get a result, we have to remember they are the league leaders. It's going to be a very tough game and I don't think anyone should get their hopes up too much. Nevertheless, I can't wait to get on the train Saturday morning!
-
Indeed!

Excellent, cheers for the info.

From what I've seen/heard he appears to be a raw talent, who certainly has promise. Hopefully, if this rumour is true, Mr Pardew can combine the fitness and diet regime he's given to Lambert with the good handling of younger players like Lallana and Morgan, and mould us a nice diamond from the rough, so to speak.

Deserves to be banned from games for life and also hope he does it to the wrong person and sees what happens.
