  1. Yes lots of experienced teachers looking to get out. I'm coming in as my first real career, and I'm not convinced I will do it long-term. Kind of worried that I'm putting all my eggs in one basket at times, not sure how easy it is to move from teaching to other decent jobs...
  2. That depends a lot on the school's policy. Some schools now demand in-depth marking for every child, every lesson, every day.
  3. Yeah that doesn't surprise me. I'm thinking of perhaps doing it abroad when I'm qualified.
  4. Currently on my training year to teach Primary. It's enjoyable (most of the time) but bloody hard work. Couple of people on the course have managed to keep working in retail at the weekends, but I know there's no way I could have done that. I'm on the School Direct program so I'm in school 4 days a week, every week.
  5. £5 cheaper than last year I think.
  6. Perfect game to soak up the pressure and counter attack. Unfortunately without Jrod we have very little pace to do so. I'd play Clyne at RB to at least give us some pace there.
  7. I think he'd be a very good player in a less physical and fast paced league (Serie A) but just can't cut it in the Prem.
  8. I'm sure Lallana was never particularly fast. What happened?
  9. Out of interest, how much would the tickets have been if we agreed the reciprocal deal in the first place?
  10. Although we are unlikely to catch anyone above us, in the last 5 games we can cement 8th place and need just 5 points to better out highest ever points tally in the Premier League (52 in 02/03). All 5 are winnable games, though Jrod will be a big miss, especially in the away games. How many points do you think we'll get? My predictions: Southampton 3-1 Cardiff (3 points) Villa 1-1 Southampton (1 point) Southampton 1-2 Everton (0 points) Swansea 1-2 Southampton(3 points) Southampton 1-1 Man U (1 point) 8 more points. Finishing in 8th place on 56.
  11. What's your rationale behind Fonte at second? And Schniederlin 7th?
  12. Top 5 would be: 1. Lallana 2. Morgan 3. Lambert 4. Lovren 5. Rodrigues
  13. How about Al-Habsi? Not a bad keeper and attainable.
  14. Need to look at those at the teams who go down, the teams who narrowly miss out on coming up and those who are 2nd or 3rd choice at a big club. The likelihood is that it'd be someone from abroad though. I'd like to think that a goalkeeper's skill set is much more transferable to any league than an outfield player's, so shouldn't necessarily matter where he comes from if he's decent.
  15. Haha, besides the vile comments on Jay, not even worth replying when they're boasting that they have won against Hartlepool in League 2 and we were unlucky to lose away at Man City. Let's face it, if one of their players had been carried off injured we wouldn't have a clue.
  16. Unless you've been to a lot of away games, probably quite slim unfortunately. I've been to 6, and would like to go, but happy if those who have been to more buy up the tickets.
  17. Don't be so hard on yourself mate.
  18. For me it highlights that the priority list in the summer should be to try to keep this squad together, followed by adding a new keeper and CB, then a striker.
  19. Although Gazza could have done better, where we're Chambers and JWP stopping that cross coming in?
  20. If he was the player of the season he wouldn't be 'unsung'.
  21. :lol:lol:lol:lol:
