Great result, even if it could have been more. I was sceptical about the line up but it worked well. I actually though Moi put in an excellent shift and was often in the right place at the right time defensively. Salisu and Bednarek both really good and Romeu is made for games like these. There’s a slight question mark about how clinical we are but hopefully the goals will start to come.

I actually think Moi is contributing a lot defensively.

I’m hoping Broja starts. As well as his great run last week, he was also the only player to get on the end of a JWP corner. I actually think our corners have been pretty poor so far this season and a set piece is probably going to be our biggest chance to score today.

Makes sense to play one up front I guess. Doesn’t make sense for it to be A Armstrong though. Either Che or Broja if we’re going lone striker please.

Is S Armstrong likely to be back? I’d say Moi deserves to keep his place on current form but would probably drop Moussa for Redmond/Tella/S Armstrong.

There’s lots of things that individuals do that isn’t great for the environment but Saints (as a club/business) are advertising shirts as eco friendly with a very eco unfriendly sponsor on them. That’s all.

It’s all very well making shirts out of plastic bottles but we are sponsored by a company that deals in and advertises Bitcoin, the mining of which generates huge amounts of carbon emissions, so we can’t really argue we are environmentally friendly.

Moi’s decision making is poor and he’s too slow to pick a pass IMO. Valery looks stronger but also hasn’t had to defend at all. Ings pretty quiet.

Actually thought he was probably our best player today. Made a lot of good tackles to break up their attacks and started to keep hold of the ball/win free kicks in the second half.

Thought Armstrong had a great game against Liverpool. Also, pretty certain we’re not going to change formation any time soon. I’d bring Romeu back in. Diallo was brilliant against Liverpool but Romeu has been brilliant all season.

He was. I found it odd that he was mostly playing on the left of the two “number 10’s”. For me I would probably stick with one of Redmond or Djenepo on left and one of Walcott or Armstrong on the right.
