Pretty sure, as mentioned in some of the comments, that a flick up isn’t allowed? He could just chip it but that would be risky.

From the couple of pre-season games I’ve seen, keepers have taken goal kicks literally 2-3 yards to a defender to play out. If anything o think this could make the press more effective when done properly.

He’s 27 so seems unlikely. That said £1.5million seems more realistic than other targets!

Don’t think we can afford to lose him this season. Better off selling Targett and bringing in/through the academy someone to play second fiddle to Bertrand this season, with a view to taking over next season if he’s good enough.
