Last season, Fellows got 4 goals and 14 assists, Azaz got 12 goals and 11 assists. So that is a combined 41 'goal contributions'. Should help us going forward!

CB is a weird one. Edwards has had a very shaky start but when we hopefully go to a back 4 I think I’d give him another go over Wood or Quarshie.

Quick look on a Nurnberg forum and they are all gutted that Jander is going, with some describing him as their best player and lots wondering how they’ll replace him. That’s usually a good sign.

Bazunu spent most of last season out with a serious injury. That happens again and we’re left with 35yo McCarthy playing and our 3rd keeper on the bench. It’s hardly against the realms of possibility we could need him to play.

It seems to me, from what Still said the other day and from the German article, that we would’ve probably kept Sugawara if it wasn’t for the Japan manager insisting that he needed to be in one of the top 5 European leagues to get a call up. Glad he’s going though as he’s terrible.

I thought those reports yesterday were just a rehash of the details that came out when Everton last bid. Ie we offered them the counter offer at that time rather than called them up a few days later.

Tbf it was a decent bit of hold up/knock down play from him that started the move for our goal yesterday.
