  1. Every voter lost.
  2. He must have been relieved to discover that as per usual, no one was watching. More people will have seen it on here than their live viewing figure.
  3. Cricket fans, wait until the end of the fucking over, it's only six balls. Then you can stagger around spilling your overpriced beer and £15 chips everywhere. Every ground should have a Fidget Section for people who can't keep fucking still. Also, if you cannot grasp a simple universal seating system, stay at home rather than wandering around all puzzled, three disinterested kids in tow, up and down the bloody steps, round and round they all shuffle - it's the fucking alphabet and numbers!

    Coronavirus

I had Covid last week, for the third time since 2020. First time was just before lockdown and I was fucked for a fortnight, heavy cold, aching bones, loss of taste and smell. Since having jabs I've had it twice, neither has been a big deal, a cold for a couple of days. Then again I would say that because I'm a frightened little mouse who follows every instruction the government gives me so I can be part of the big Pharma cover-up. And water can absorb negative energy so be careful what you say near your taps.
  5. Good luck, there's a threat of some thundery showers, which would probably be quite nice with the current temperatures.
  6. Where Prague stood is now a car park and a kebab van - and in many ways I think that's probably an improvement.
  7. Did someone ask for a weirdo? Well I went into the Rockstone once and the guy misheard my food order and brought me thick-cut fries with my falafel burger instead of sweet potato ones, it was carnage! When he came round to ask if everything was okay, I showed my disapproval by nodding and smiling - but inside, I was seething. 😡 #crazynight
  8. There was an interesting throwaway line in the Burnley documentary. Kompany made the comment that it can take four months for players to really get to grips with new systems and to implement them correctly due to the amount of information you are asking them to absorb, a theory that was supported by the way their season went from average to dominant. It's this small nugget of hope that makes me believe we'll be alright.
  9. Why is everyone so fucking negative? We totally bossed possession, they couldn't cope with our repetitive little sideways triangles in our own half, and we destroyed them in the corner count 8-5.
  10. The EFL highlights show. Half of it's filmed on phones and the commentary is written by tabloid chimps with typewriters - 'This team hasn't bagged a maximum since the first day of term!'.... Do what?
  11. I don't know who they've signed but I'm pretty sure I'll know exactly what they said in their first interview.
  12. Tiny weak PM tries to look strong with bigboy announcement.
  13. I have no problem with the dismantling of a dreadful squad and the bringing in of sensible replacements, a new era, a fresh start. Keeping Lavia, Tella and Prowsie would have been nice, but the money has been right in fees and wagebill savings, and the new business model needs income. There's more deadwood to clear, get them out of the door.
  14. Is that the first draft of the Stewart Lee routine? 😎
  15. Braverman is absolutely fucking bonkers. She's denying basic maths by persistently claiming 20,000 extra police officers when the real figure is 3,000, she's obsessed with pleasing thick racists by using mad soundbite phrases like lefty lawyers and woke as she tries to conjure up some imaginary enemy we can all blame, she has stated that opposition political parties support criminal gangs and now she seems to think that all firefighters are hardcore political activists acting against her. She's wrong on most things, she's grossly incompetent, she's wasted hundreds of millions of pounds on madcap stunts, she couldn't run a bath, she's dangerous and she's a fucking lunatic. It's not a good mix and it's an appalling public image for the UK. Fareham, sort it out.
  16. Things you miss when you are at the game - as mentioned above, the fact that their goal would have had a major offside enquiry in the Premier League, and more importantly, the quality of that save by Bazunu prior to their disallowed goal - top class save in a crowded box.
  17. Ref was totally inconsistent with cards, and his assistant on the Itchen dodged most decisions all afternoon - shirt-pulling right in front of him, offsides, he even left a few corners and throw-ins to the ref. On a positive, Armstrong.A was chasing everything, classy finish, committed and energetic performance, and the makeshift centre back pairing took no shit and wouldn't be bullied - their centre forward came looking for trouble and discovered he was at the correct address. A good day.
  18. It's not about disruption, it's a distraction event. If Met officers are tied up with that, women will be safer and London will be a nicer place for a day.
  19. I have no insider knowledge of our transfer plans but I'm really concerned about what might or might not be happening, either way it's worrying. Typical Saints. 😕
  20. Mike Dean did issue cards in unusual patterns that would be very difficult to predict if let's say, you liked to predict things against long odds. One card in the whole game, and to a keeper, or none in an hour, then six in ten minutes, that sort of thing.

    Che Adams

This has all the potential to be one of those rare transfer deals that doesn't work for anyone. He's already demonstrated that he cannot score goals in a poor Premier League side, so I can't see him ripping up trees at Everton, and we need a good Championship striker, which I believe he is. Everton fans will hate him if he doesn't score a few, he'll become a figure of fun, the only winners could be his agent and his bank manager. It's a massive gamble for him.
  22. Something has to change, you cannot have convicted murderers or even accused defendants dictating and controlling proceedings by ignoring them. For many relatives I believe it would be useful for them to see that the guilty are forced to hear the impact statements. But the victims' families would have a say on the attendance issue, it's not compulsory, the court wouldn't force families into a confrontation with the murderer. As for the circus element, some would try to hijack it - soundproof dock with one way PA? Or if they want a circus, maybe gag them like Hannibal Lecter on a sack truck....
  23. I heard an old guy struggling to get gears outside a shop and asked him if he was alright. He got out saying he was struggling to find first, I tried it, no problem.. We established that his seat was too far back - he'd also had an MOT and they'd moved it, he couldn't reach the pedals properly. He'd been driving it around for ten days, only just able to reach the wheel.
  24. Great business for us, perhaps Liverpool will learn a lesson from how they bungled the whole thing. Cash in the bank plus comedy value. 👍
  25. That was balanced comment from Blackmore I think, it is a gamble for Prowsie and he's been a great servant to Saints so I hope he breaks the free kick record, but West Ham? It doesn't sound like there's much of a pay rise, it's a valid point about travel and family, yes it's a bigger stadium and he might get to play against the mighty Qarabag FK, Slavia Praha and Sheriff, but the second time a free kick misses the target the fans will be on his back, they want another Declan Rice, so it could all go a bit Ingsy on him. Maybe it's a reflection on him thinking we are unprepared for a swift return and he could be right, but he has taken a gamble.
