  1. I was amused against Man City when the only breathers we got were for VAR checks to see if we'd done anything wrong. We badly needed to break their momentum and it was better than any gel or injury break.
  2. At least he's not a sweaty nonce, he just accidentally hung out with sex offenders on a regular basis, so that's a relief. Onwards and upwards, get the bunting, lay the tables, it's Royal street party year - don't mention the out of court settlement, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
  3. United don't look so clever without Mike Dean running things box-to-box - failing to replace him might cost them a top four place. Hopefully those two points today will hurt them.
  4. Sorry to hear that,
  5. Three great finishes! Adams' in particular - a cross curling and spinning in like that, he had to generate the power and get the direction spot on. I'm not sure why Lloris didn't go for the second one, presumably beaten for pace - it was a top class header but not far away from him. What a fantastic win. And we made that massive club Spurs look chaotic, I think they could in fifty years time reflect on Leicester's season as the one that got away.
  6. I'm pretty sure that Cummings and Johnson didn't lie to Leave voters just to further their own careers and to assist their wealthy backers who have cashed in on Brexit. There will be a simple explanation and I'm certain that the many benefits that were promised for the UK will emerge at any moment....
  7. Yes, the entire narrative has indeed been torn up by a scripted interview with a bunch of dangerous lunatics, brought to us by a bloke with an interesting Twitter timeline. And it all means we can now get back to pretending that Johnson is doing a great job, getting on with it, levelling-up, building back better, getting Brexit done, shoulder to the wheel, 24-7, all in it together, getting the big decisions right, bringing crime down, the economy up, and allowing us, the plucky Brits, to lead the world in every field of human endeavour - unlike the other parties who all hate their own country and talk us down by explaining the real figures and highlighting something we used to call reality. If it was up to the opposition parties we'd be seeing rocketing energy and food prices, 150,000 dead, money wasted, taxes rising and Russian money sloshing around Westminster! God Bless Boris.
  8. A baying mob surrounds Starmer in the street and shouts 'paedo protector' and 'nonce' at him, repeating a lie told by our Prime Minister, and in that moment Johnson's evolution into Trump is complete - tell mad lies to the extremists and let them get to work. We can no longer laugh at how stupid America was. Surely no one can honestly believe that Johnson is a positive force for the UK and continue to defend him now? He should be sacked. Forget resignation, he needs to be dragged off to fecking jail.
  9. So sorry to hear that - sending best wishes to a Takeover Thread brother.
  10. The power of the forum! Armstrong 43% v 32% now - get voting.
  11. As we're limited with the quality of our fringe players, looking at it on paper we've managed the cup well so far. It didn't feel like it in that first half yesterday, but we did enough at Swansea, and got the job done yesterday against a decent team with great support. But it certainly highlighted who is up to first team football and who isn't...no need to name them, it was obvious. And whoever had the idea at the design stage of giving away the Northam to all FA Cup visitors, didn't think it through.
  12. Oven ready, easiest deal in history, we're at the front of the queue for the US deal, we hold all the cards, cheaper food, lower energy prices, taking back control of our borders..... All now exposed as delusion diarrhoea squirted from the flabby white arse of an Eton liar, to be spoonfed to the easily-led - and they gleefully gobbled it down.
  13. Imagine dedicating your life to public service, going to Westminster with big ideas and then waking up one day to discover that you've traded your soul to defend the persistent mad lies for a guy who would sack you tomorrow. Any MP who doesn't slap down the Savile lie and continues to make excuses for the corruption and the parties has lost their spine and their moral compass. I note the new MP chose her words very carefully when asked and said a conservative PM is the best way forward, she didn't say the PM.
  14. While Mirza has been with Johnson since 2008, it's suggested that she and her husband are very close to Sunak... She has a serious kick at Boris in her letter, three resignations follow like dominoes, the ship looks badly damaged....is this Sunak finally breaking cover and launching his attack?
  15. Has little Avram been out on manoeuvres again?... #pompeyhero
  16. Does Nadine Dorries actually have a drink problem, or is she just an overly-aggressive, pigshit-thick and thoroughly unpleasant excuse for a minister?
  17. He had a f**king shocker there, it was like watching Mike Dean trying to referee Argentina v Brazil without a whistle - a hollow wishy-washy statement followed by a sound kicking from all corners. This brief update of the main report has implicated him, and shown very clearly that he misled parliament. No serving PM should need to be investigated by the police - that's resignation time. And we don't need to wait for anything, the enquiry has already unearthed enough.
  18. If I was a Newcastle fan I think I'd be pretty underwhelmed by now. The chance to be the next Man City, yet you end up with Eddie Howe buying Chris Wood. They probably have enough to stay up now, but they need a major rebuild throughout - using quality young players, not old school strikers and journeymen.
  19. A new day, a new lie, I'm staggered. All of the Afghan civilians who risked their lives to help our military? f**k em and the promises we made! Get those manky dogs out instead, Carrie insists, then lie about it. He has taken the Great out of Great Britain and left us looking like a heartless, blatantly corrupt, hateful, and dishonest little island. I want my country back - the respected one that taught the world fair play, justice and tolerance, they f**king listened when we spoke - now we just madly claim to be best in every field of human endeavour while other countries laugh at us. Change needs to come....asap.
  20. Presumably the investigation will be headed up by a senior officer - perhaps Sajid Javid's brother will be the one selected to decide whether his brother's friends have any charges to face? Either way, the junior staff at no.10 might as well pack their bags now as you can be sure they were to blame for everything.
  21. By May 2020 the loneliness of lockdown became too much for my Mum and her mental health suffered so badly as a result of the isolation that she had to leave the family home after six decades. Later that summer I was nominated as her one visitor who could wish her a happy birthday through the care home window. Boris Johnson is an appalling excuse for a human being and any sucker who supports him now is as much of a c**t as he is. He needs to resign tonight. But he's a f**king coward, up to his fat waist in corruption and racism, so he probably won't.
  22. Portsmouth goalkeeper Alex Bass admits the facilities at loan club Bradford City are better than they are with the Blues. The jealous rejects always make up stuff like this, not like the plucky replacement heroes coming in who appreciate that they have finally reached the promised land. It can't be true....unless of course Bradford bought two ping-pong tables in the Sports Direct sale, and have a ground that doesn't come with an awning and a jockey wheel.
  23. Have their players who collapsed in agony with career-threatening injuries and facial damage posted pictures of those injuries yet? Perhaps the unfortunate Laporte needs to have a word with his colleagues who cry wolf.
  24. He and Steve Moran both scoring three against Coventry, that must be some sort of record - then there were the goals against Liverpool - his pace was astonishing, a great player.
