  1. You get rid of your former captain and he comes back to score two goals against you as the bottom side beats you comfortably?...on any scale that is a disaster. What with the ESL falling over as well it makes you wonder if Eisner's plan to be a global force by 2030 is still on track. I'm concerned about them now, they seem a little out of sorts.
  2. With Leicester hot favourites for the title, yes.
  3. I do hope the participants have broken Premier League rules and all get relegated. And has anyone come forward and said it's a good idea yet? Bonkers.
  4. On a brighter note, I did enjoy Hoddle and the other twat bigging up the arrival of the footballing genius Maddison - closely followed by his free kick that required accompanying paperwork as it landed in fucking Belgium. Eeyeore could have clipped in a better cross, with his weaker hoof.
  5. It was like Claude Puel but without the charisma. Who can blame Ings if he wants away? Our 'creative' players created zero. And why do we go gung-ho at West Brom then shut the door in this game to the extent that people like Bertrand are petrified of going forward? I suspect most people are just pleased we didn't get hammered, but honestly, we lost to the shittest goal in Wembley history and gave in with no fight. It was so dull I managed to watch the Grand Prix at the same time.
  6. On The Buses has stood the test of time - it's like a highbrow Mrs Brown's Boys, with jokes thrown in between the social observations.
  7. My Dad did four decades of service to Queen and country but it seems he missed the majority of the medals that were being dished out. By the amount of bling on display today, those Royals saw way more service than I realised...
  8. With Anne and Charles up front I don't see where the goals are going to come from, they probably went to finishing school but there's no pace. Harry and William out wide makes sense but Peter Phillips in that holding role will have to go long ball and hope for the best. Andrew won't be breaking sweat to create anything either.
  9. Sir James knows all about employing people from all around the world. The tax-efficient flag-hugger has closed UK factories and offices and moved jobs abroad so he can employ people all around the world. While loudly advising others to do the opposite.
  10. Get the players and coaching staff in at 8am tomorrow for an inquest on the last few months and thrash it out. Totally unacceptable.
  11. I see media sycophants are now trying to portray his unique brand of clumsy racism and disdain for the public as some strain of refreshing honesty that we should all admire.
  12. We could do a lot better, if we spent £50m. And we could do a lot worse when you look around the division at the Bentekes and Carrolls who still seem to be stealing a living.

    Coronavirus

Can't Bill Gates just add a Covid status facility to the tracking App that we've all had injected into us? Then we could just be scanned, like in Lidl. Infected drinker in the bagging area...
  14. United look a much more balanced side with Dean in the middle, he's had a great season for them.
  15. Three great finishes, three points that keep us safe. An eggsellent result.
  16. On a day when we have dead-pig-botherer Cameron up to his sweating balls in seedy shit and serial-denier Boris exposed for giving taxpayer cash to a woman he was secretly fucking, while his wife was being treated for cancer, the BBC has a news blackout, hiding front pages they don't like during the paper review. They are literally editing facts they don't want to us to know, and instead leading with Jedward have shaved off their quiffs for charity, and a warning from the NHS not to be silly. Imagine if it was Starmer, Corbyn or Sturgeon?....it would be a feeding frenzy! But the casual voter gets to be spoonfed lovely warm no.10 PR drivel - don't bother the simple folk with facts and other nonesense. Here's Carol with the weather....don't mention the corruption, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
  17. Some officers in Bristol are clearly totally out of control, have lost all judgement and have been battering anything that crosses their path. Their actions bring the police into disrepute, it gives a soft excuse to the dangerous nutters who are attacking them and the pictures make the UK look fucking terrible across the world. And don't anyone bother defending the behaviour of the minority of officers who have gone rogue, we've all seen the footage, save your breath, it's no hill to die on. They should have saved that level of violence for the dangerous protesters who deserve everything coming to them.
  18. While a teacher being in hiding and mass protests are clearly over the top, dodgy Jenrick posing in front of a flag sent to him by central office and a portrait of the Queen, telling us that you should be able to show a picture of anything to kids in a classroom is a man clearly off his trolley and wildly incompetent. Any teachers out there want to follow that insane suggestion and see where it leads? He was less annoying when he was caught out with his little piggy snout in the taxpayer trough, coughing up treats for billionaire developers.
  19. The assistant fucked up Ings' goal v Villa by flagging when he wasn't supposed to, they can't impose the current rules so let's not confuse them with changes. As for no offside, bonkers. Use the area, or a third defender, but no restriction at all would be a comedy circus. And while we're on time-wasting, if you want to speed up games you should get 20 seconds to take a corner, goalkick or a throw, that's easily long enough - and when a goal is scored the opposition can kick off after 30 or 45 secs, so stop all the pissing about with your long drawn out timewasting celebrations. 😡
  20. Respect to all of the victims, that was a tough watch. I knew one or two of those guys and it's sad to see that those kids who just loved football and wanted to become professionals had their whole lives broken by a monster. They are blameless and he's where he should have been put decades ago. As for that jury that didn't convict, what the fuck were they thinking when that avalanche of evidence was put before them? They looked at Higgins and decided all his victims were liars - beyond belief. All the best to the guys who were brave enough to speak out, I hope they have found some solace in the fact that they halted his abuse and stopped other kids suffering.
  21. I can still see him now, ambling about with his socks around his ankles, flicking passes left and right for others to chase and then whacking in a shot from some crazy angle or distance. By the time he came to us he looked like he was about 60 so no one asked him to track back, but boy did he create chances for others. He was there for the 8-2 against Coventry - a proper entertainer from another era.
  22. The catering would be top notch if it were open and the radio station will be great once we find a CD player.
  23. Man Utd really missed their box-to-box guy today who creates most chances for them - the twat with a fucking whistle and no grasp of card use. Sad to see them get knocked out, but I'd got over it by the end of injury time. 👍
  24. While some of their defending was very 'mid-table Championship', Redmond was much better today, hopefully a confidence boost that will lead to a few more performances like that. Two great finishes.
  25. I'm no doom monger but I keep hearing pundits saying we are okay - can they not see the really obvious path opening up to a very nervous season finale? We just need a fucking win or we're going to be right in the shit, very soon. If I was Fulham right now I would be thinking that one of the teams above will fail and we will catch them. Let's just hope it's Newcastle.
