But Brentford would also really struggle against Chelsea, so we can beat them....
-
The only two positives I can find is that the owners have seen with their own eyes that a summer rebuild is needed - and it was sunny.

It'd really sad that it's come to this, you can see his popularity and legendary status with all fans is just dropping through the floor, he's become a figure of fun. But he's chosen to air his views rather than maintain his status with the club, so I guess that act could be filed under brave.....if you're being generous. Sad day.
-
Matt, please stop. Have those opinions - but keep them to yourself before the club has to get involved. It's really sad to see him trending for all the wrong reasons.
-
It's one of the best demonstrations of the benefits of hard work and drive. The hours he must have put in on the training ground to get to this level - a great professional who Ralph has moulded into an international midfielder who must go to the World Cup.
-
I said his account - look at his historic content, it's littered with mad shit. He believes homosexuals, lesbians and trans are all paedophiles, plus a very slanted and selective view on rape - proper delusional extremist bollocks of the most dangerous kind. The Tweets of a fucking moron.
-
Is that a serious Twitter account from someone who is mentally unbalanced, or just a parody of mad hate speech ramblings?

Yeah, if burglars also put confessions up on social media there might be half a chance of a prosecution. Thankfully we have an extra ten million officers on the beat now and shoplifting dropped significantly during lockdown so we are clearly on the right path.

Leading the world in sweeping corruption under the carpet - good old British carpet! -
Sad news - a great drummer in a band of great drummers.

I find it difficult to believe that Chris Grayling might have fucked up something so major that it shafts thousands of British workers - many of whom will have voted for him and Brexit. In that top cabinet of high-flyers he always stood out as one of the most talented individuals, so I'm sure this is just an innocent guy who trousers £100k a year from the ports industry, putting UK workers first.

Dowden is an empty vessel, a blank magnolia wall, a pointless individual who makes Chris Grayling look dynamic. He was sent out yesterday with an appalling script of nonsense to plod through, in an effort to fire up simpletons clapping like retarded seals, but the dozy fuckwit could barely master the art of reading and standing up at the same time. I wouldn't trust him to sit the correct way on a toilet. -

Johnson's clearly delusional and appears somewhat mentally unwell. He needs removing as soon as possible for the sake of the UK's international reputation, his actions make us a laughing stock. -
Liz Truss contributed nothing to this - we simply had to pay a debt that should have been cleared decades ago. A shambolic episode, featuring several governments and far too many accountants. Disgraceful that a family were dragged into it.

I believe worstest is the term you mean. They're still in with a small playoff shout but that defeat was a disaster, especially in one of the few derbies they actually have these days...
-
Put your money on bizarre yellow cards and a dodgy red - normally delivered in unusual patterns that only the 'keenest' gamblers might predict. Four to one side, none to the other, all in one half - that sort of thing. Mr Dean, we're watching...
-
Timewasting and feigning injuries - the last resorts of twats. Especially annoying when you've handed them a lead to defend.
-
That's nothing, I've spotted that in F1 they even use radios to chat - during the race! Though in fairness some teams also talk to the race director and he does whatever they want.

It's a bit worrying if some people honestly believe that Prowsie didn't want it as much as Targett, or Romeu didn't want it enough as, well, anyone, or that Forster would have had a clean sheet if only he'd wanted it a bit more - it's tired nonsense peddled by lazy commentators. Winning second balls is not as simple as wanting it more - it's primarily a blend of judgement, timing, positioning, technical ability and anticipation. Hopefully Ralph will be taking the practical approach of working on tactics, training and player-improvement, the areas that will actually change games.
-
Can we also bury the ridiculous cliche, they wanted it more. No game has ever been won in this method, it is lazy nonesense. Wood scored because he judged the flight of the cross better and had the skill and timing to meet it. The second goal was a similar situation followed by a very cute finish. No one wanted it less or more - goals normally come about through real things like judgement, talent, strength and timing. As for the traffic - gridlocked in West End next to a traffic update board - does it tell us which M27 junctions are shut? Does it fuck, it tells us that seatbelts save lives. Thankfully I found a shortcut and got home because I wanted it more.

The main positive I took from tonight was that Newcastle's destined journey to the summit of European football is going to take about 200 years on that showing. For the money spent, they are all over the show. And it was funny to see Shelvey's grandad have a run out too, bless him.

Anyway, after PMQs I now know that we lead the world in supplying Ukraine with arms, we lead the world in sanctioning oligarchs, and we lead the world in rehoming refugees. Three glorious victories for Global Britain! All the other lesser countries that don't care as much as we do are hanging their heads in shame at seeing the incredibly slick, trouble-free, ramped-up, unprecedented, turbocharged, caring, paperwork-free evacuation operation that the plucky UK has organised - it's the envy of the world! The one that we lead. All possible because we're no longer tied up by foreign red tape - so today we're demonstrating exactly how efficient and caring we really are.

It may well be his Falklands moment, but even Thatcher wasn't in bed with the Argentinians and up to her neck in bribes from them. Johnson can't even enter a war without some ambiguity about which side he's actually supporting - he's up to his neck in Russian money and going against the security reports from his own advisors. Every time you imagine that you can't think any less of him, he finds a way. -
No, but I think it needed showing. While we're fucking around dragging our feet waiting for some court to arrange a hearing so we don't upset the friends of Putin, his soldiers are killing children. The man is a war criminal, his supporters own property in the UK, if they feel badly treated let them sue us and we'll discuss it in court next year or the year after, depending on how many children die as a result of their support. Yes, we need to do things legally, but we are now so far behind the curve it's a fucking joke - a very sick one.
-
It's a bit rich for any war criminal who is literally killing children, to claim that an alleged stranger having his yacht impounded is like a declaration of war. If these oligarchs really have no connection to him, why is he even bothered? The shit will really hit the fan if the UK eventually follows the EU, Canada, Australia and Switzerland, and starts properly freezing assets. We've got to support that action soon, surely....
