Call me selfish but I don't care what happens to European bollocks, I just want the best for my own - and the feel of cold steel against the scrotum is uncomfortable...there are clever ways to get the best for the UK, threatening self-harm is not one of them. Waiting for them to blink first and all that big manly talk of how we are so important is great, if you have a strategy and good negotiators...but we've been missing both since day one so we're now resorting to the desperate bollocks thing. No doubt people will disagree, but I just believe we'd be better off doing clever negotiations and actually trying for a deal.

Interesting stuff. Though I'm curious to know how Bednarek has made more defensive errors leading to goals than Maguire, he's been running at a goal a game recently.
-
Though it's still quite high risk - standing there pointing a gun at our own bollocks and threatening to pull the trigger...let's see who blinks first. 😨

Generally his stuff is pretty cool, there's normally a message, often hard-hitting, and even if you don't agree with it, you can usually find some merit in the work, unless you prefer watercolours of fruit bowls and pastel kittens. And he definitely doesn't take himself too seriously, so what's not to like? 🙂

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

That kid up front for Norwich - I saw his great little finish tonight, gave the keeper the eyes and coolly side-footed the ball into the other corner. Class. -
This thread is hilarious! It appears to have been comically-hijacked by loads of forum parody characters trying to outdo each other by pretending they believe the most ludicrous things just to generate indignation in others - keep up the good work - you bunch of pinko, remoaning, leftie, sandal-wearing, trolling, self-loathing, Nazi-sympathising, Corbynista, anti-dog, Marxist, terrorist-hugging, history-rewriting, all lives mattering, country-hating, statue-bothering snowflakes! 🤣

Yes, I fear all of those famous N-word statuez in Compton are going to be politely removed by concerned Klan members. I'd like to think we can all agree that while a black dog that airmen abused as cheap entertainment by getting it drunk and laughing at, was acceptable 75 years ago, in 2020 one might observe that it's treatment and name wasn't our finest hour. The famous dog should still be remembered, but persisting in celebrating its 'once-amusing' name when society has evolved, merely courts controversy and distracts from the incredible achievements of Gibson and his crews.

Well I'm with Rupert Lowe on this one, I'm frothing at the mouth with gammony indignation, I have veins sticking out on my forehead and I refuse to engage with any of the facts behind this case, I will just continue to be confused by her being a dangerous idiot and the fact that she was a groomed child, and the great gift that has been bestowed upon her is to be tried in a British court!! I'm so angry I could put on mustard slacks and appoint Harry Redknapp to solve everything! 😡

I've come to embrace the mentions of the 9-0, it's like League One - that's where we come from, there is pride in progress and honesty in remembering your roots. And every time Daniel Levy or some other chairman looks at Ralph, the Leicester defeat is there niggling away in the background as a seed of doubt.....would they really risk millions of pounds on a manager with that on his CV?....it's a big risk. So, please would commentators continue to remind other clubs how bad Ralph's ten-man team was on one rainy night in 2019. Cheers. 👍

I enjoyed that.

Thankfully our government has had four years to prepare for this, so there will be no issues. With the talent in our cabinet I'm sure everything will go swimmingly, and poor old Johnny Foreigner will be as jealous as anything when they see the glorious success we create with Cummings at the helm. It'll be great when we no longer have unelected nutters making the decisions, giving out contracts to their mates! We will be the envy of Europe - and we'll continue to lead the world in every field of human endeavour, there is nothing we can learn from anyone else, we're experts in every field. All we need is belief. And approx £300 billion.

We could always sign Matt Targett for £20m... -
Ecclestone dismissed blacked-up people doing monkey chants as a minor thing. If he also believes that black people will get the job if they're talented enough then the last few hundred years have passed him by. He's a dinosaur, as well as many other things - perhaps not his fault as he is from the era before Love They Neighbour, but in 2020 he's best kept under wraps in the back of the garage.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Chris. Grayling. An appointment that tells you everything you need to know about no.10. I wouldn't trust him to operate kitchen roll without injuring himself - a truly pointless minister, totally devoid of any skills, with a car-crashesque track record of inept failure that makes the PPE debacle look like a glorious triumph. And yet we pay him huge money to lead things.... We've gone beyond The Thick of It. -
I thought that bloke was a comedy character until I saw his biog. 😄 Failed Brexit Party candidate songwriter hates people attempting to impose their opinions on others, and fights his corner by releasing songs imposing his own opinions on others. So I guess he likes free speech, as long as it's his.

Defender chops down a forward going in on goal....yellow card. What sort of decision was that? VAR checks for red and by saying no, clearly indicates that it wasn't a foul. What a bizarre way to abuse perfectly good technology. Get some sensible people operating it.

That is a funny little twist!

I'll tell you this for nothing, unlike major financial institutions let's give them some credit - they had a decent season, a memorable cup run, that i'll never forget, and were only beaten by a bigger team tonight. It's not like they play dinosaur hoofball from Division Four in 1975, their loyal fans have had great entertainment along the way.

Lose 9-0 at home, win the return game, then find ourselves beating the outgoing champions, in July, to take us 16 points about the dropzone. Mad stuff.

Presumably Farage cut his isolation period short to test his eyes, or to replace the towels in his holiday home, both now confirmed as valid reasons. -
They've clearly tired themselves out and will be nervous coming to our fortress. 0-0.

Nobbing is a great word that really should get more use. Sounds like it should be a village in Dorset. Little Nobbing, Great Nobbing. Or should it be knobbing? Discuss.

I had Ralph one game from the sack after that - it was a performance lacking....well, everything. My second favourite moment of the season was going up there and beating them. They took the mick, tried to wind us up before the game and came spectacularly unstuck. It will be interesting at the end of the season to see if those three lost points cost Leicester anything, because we've shrugged off both the loss and goal difference, and turned it round.
