  1. I'm not sure that Mr Kruger was looking to offer a balanced analysis, the clue was when he literally started with - it's just as bad as all the other efforts to license doctors to kill patients. Not a constructive way to start any debate on a serious subject. Personally I thought the two independent doctors plus a judge, and only for people in the last six months of life looked like significant controls in place, then again I'm not a Tory MP with a fragile majority, desperate for headlines.
  2. I have sympathy for those brave enough and able to to do all the away games - it's not your fault, thanks for bothering more than some of the players do. We just can't carry on like this, keeping the ball, having good shape, being brave, proud of the lads, creating nothing. This defeat and performance feels like a pivotal moment.

    Israel

There are several versions of the events in Amsterdam out there now. The behaviour of the Israeli fans can be seen online, the attacks on local businesses, the disrespect for the Valenica dead, the chants about murdered children. Who started what, first, is open to debate, but to portray the violence as anti-semitic attacks on innocent football tourists is just part of the propaganda campaign. Ultras go looking for trouble and find it, may perhaps be a more accurate account of what happened.
  4. Massive progress in the US this week. The losers have accepted the result with dignity and not encouraged every dumb fuck in the area to riot.
  5. Great result for his legal team, should be enough to keep him out of prison for a while. We're gonna need a bigger bucket of popcorn.
  6. I owe Laura Trott an apology, I considered her a thick weak link, and then Chris Philp and Mark Francois stepped into the ring causing a significant decline in the IQ average. Kemi has assembled, by some distance, the least talented shadow cabinet in political history, which should offer some fantastic comedy value over the next year or two. It's like the worst hand of political Top Trumps you could imagine. As EMF famously said, you're unelectable.
  7. Indeed, they're on course to repeat what we did - getting out of the division at the first attempt.
  8. Laura Trott - a woman who literally cannot count, who can't grasp percentages, and relies on everyone else being thicker than she is? She's so easily-confused you wouldn't trust her to wear her shoes on the correct feet, if she went to the Olympics she'd get on the bike facing the wrong fucking way. Appointing her and the business partner of Rees-Mogg while defending partygate and claiming that Boris did a great job right up until the point that he protected a sex offender, is this really Badenoch's plan for power? This could be funnier than Truss.
  9. How far can I expect to be moved by the King's story, will it incur more capital gains tax?
  10. We won, the weekend is saved, enjoy it.
  11. Not all businesses, many were left out while some trades were gifted support they didn't need, as people on here will know from personal experience. Yes, it had to be done quickly but the whole Covid support funding was poorly arranged allowing some fraudsters to exploit it. As someone who paid huge amounts of taxes over decades but got zero support, my memory of that time will always be a government literally gifting millions of pounds to its friends and family through furlough and PPE contracts, in a blatant display of corruption. Hopefully the Covid Fraud team will be knocking on doors soon.
  12. Jenrick stinks of desperation, and he's rocking a haircut that people give their six-year-olds when they've combating headlice. As for Andy Street, for me his judgement came into question when he shacked up with Michael Fabricant, surely there are hotter and less-mad guys in the West Midlands? Not sure the Tory membership can really imagine a day when that happy couple stand on the steps of no.10 holding hands and waving to the cameras, however good a job he's done as a mayor. But if Street hooked up with Boris.....that would be a Tory (wet) dream team.
  13. I'm not sure that dating the homeless counts.
  14. Why did Leicester rest Anthony Taylor tonight?
  15. All British governments have been floating ideas in the media then acting upon the feedback for decades. The clever bit is not doing it with major policies, a change of direction on big things looks weak, listening to people on dull issues is sensible, and always has been.
  16. Former Tory chancellor highlights concerns that people's mortgages might go up in breathtaking hypocritical press statement that attempts to rewrite history. Tomorrow, former minister responsible for crushing the poor for a decade attacks government poverty plan in tyre-screeching, career-driven, vote-begging U-turn. The next day, BBC reporter attacks No.10 plans despite ignoring worse actions from the same address for five years. They still think everyone is stupid.
  17. There have been many incidents where individual police officers and forces have clearly acted in a racist manner. IMO, shooting a wanted criminal as he violently resists arrest by trying to run you over is not one of them.
  18. I can't recall the last time I spotted a pair of double standard Charlies, it was probably around the pool in Nice....
  19. I was fortunate enough to be one of the 2,000 fans at the post-Covid Man City home game. It was a joy to shout 'advice' at Mike Dean knowing that he could hear every word - we even made eye contact at one point, he knew that he'd been found out. He wasn't particularly bad by his standards that day, it was just the usual yellow card for Saints, nothing for City for the exact same offence routine. But Taylor at the weekend....wow, worse than Kevin Friend protecting Liverpool - I can cope with losing but when you feel robbed, that's a different matter, so many 'unusual' decisions that will never make sense, his whole performance stank of something unsavoury. I'd like to see the full game played to a panel of experts and explained, it could be used as a training film.

They're only targeting the bank accounts of terrorists.
  21. I know some will disagree but I want to see our players in the referee's face when he fucks up, and I want to see tall Paul going down and highlighting the foul. If you surround the ref, VAR wakes up and has to intervene - had that been Man United they would have been barging him off to the monitor, and they'd have had a penalty. As for Taylor...I thought he was up there with Kevin Friend versus Liverpool, it's the constant little decisions going against you that really hurt a team, fouls missed, cards given, there was no consistency. Their guy should have been booked for the sliding challenge prior to our first goal - that would have seen him sent off in the second half - add in the penalty shout and Taylor had a massive influence on the result. If all our yellow cards were correct, how do we define Vardy's high challenge? It looked far worse than any of the yellows from the other end - anyone see it close up? And for those who like gambling and numbers - that was certainly an interesting pattern of cards in the first half.... What odds would you get on so many home players being booked in such a short space of time?....Very unusual, not seen since Mike Dean.
  22. Kevin Friend and Mike Dean should be nervous, we have a new nomination for the worst refereeing performance in a decade.
  23. We could probably do with getting something today.
  24. I choose to misunderstand basic law so I can pretend it's a deep state conspiracy.
  25. That furry boatbear scrounger has come over here to shit in our woods,, they give him a house, and a hat, name a station after him, all the while he's off his face on marmalade, OUR marmalade, living the high life on benefits and fucking our bears. He's out there now, clogging up our vets, driving good British bees to extinction, before you know it we won't be able to say bear, this is just the furry end of the wedge, there will be rivers of honey...
