They must be looking forward to that 3rd round draw....if they can progress.

What's with the booing? When the fans bought tickets to see an average team playing in a very low league against an equally average team, what the ***** did they expect to see? I'm sure the manager and players are well impressed with that.

I thought Sky was part of the evil new world game that they didn't want to be part of? Divison Four is the place to be for proper football etc... Anyway I doubt if there is room for Sky to set up, what with the park being packed.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

These people may claim a link to religion but they are not religious, they are just bloodthirsty psychopaths. -
While it's fair to say the forthcoming HMRC cull isn't linked, how many companies have to default on huge tax bills before we can link them to closures of key services? During one of their recent administrations when Moneypenny was chief apologist for her club's criminality, a key cancer ward in her own constituency was closed as part of cuts. You can talk of different budgets etc but if the taxman misses out on £35m something has to give, and occasionally it comes back to bite the local community on the ar$e. Tax evasion by football clubs is not a victimless crime.

Anyone who is buying all of the media spin on Corbyn needs to look at who is producing it and why they want you to buy into their agenda - and then perhaps take a long hard look at themselves. I treat those stories with the same disdain as the ones that tell us we should all be watching Strictly, Downton and Bake-Off while worshipping Katie Price, Richard Hammond and One Direction. It's drifted so far from electoral mischief into blatant untruth that it is now damaging those who publish it - yes, the ones that hacked the phones of dead soldiers' families to make a buck and who are now lecturing us on respect for war dead.
-
They must be getting jumpy now - one home win away from going in a draw with big clubs like Brighton, Bournemouth.... The last thing they need right now is a local derby.
-
I didn't see the date, thought it was this week and just spat my drink out at the sight of Gomes in goal.

I'm not sure that bumping along at the ar$e end of the league pyramid for a few decades is a great plan for getting one over on your rivals! You jealous scummahs haven't beaten us for ages!.... Indeed we haven't.

Kicking people? - They can't even kick the ball out of their own six yard box without looking like the Chuckle Brothers.
-
10,000 empty seats. I think they need to look at their pricing. With the largest fanbase south of London that park should be packed. Presumably there was a protest of some sort.

Buying?...

I agree, it sounds like a lovely song. Cheerful, upbeat, but with a melody that evokes memories of a happy past, and perhaps a happier future. Yes, the pompey fans and CB Fry are spot on - I look forward to hearing it ringing out around their lovely old ground.

It was just an earner for Hampshire Police. Overpolicing football is way easier than chasing burglars or taking statements, and you can charge whatever you fancy.
-
They've managed to underachieve before - appointing several future England managers, outbidding the whole division for players and even managing to get relegated. They may just be able to pull off a wasted season one more time - it'll be tough, as they are surrounded by the worst collection of clubs seen since Tiger Woods' missus used a set to rearrange his sports room.
-
Dress football up how you want with Skybet, Barclaycard, Coke or any other marketing stuff.... Div Four says 1975, it says overflowing toilets, sideburns and lost dreams. So pompey are still in Division Four. And I shall also continue to deny them a capital letter until the debts are cleared or criminality admitted. Allow me my odd ways.
-
If you can drop as many points as they have and remain in the automatic promotion spots it says much about the state of Division Four. Since superstar and future England captain Jed left, the division has become a dumping ground for badly-coached sh1t journeymen.
-
Leeds United - big club, proper heritage, massive support. If the fans pull this off it will be interesting to see if they can achieve anything without external funding.

I take it he is only retiring from club football so he can stay fit to play for Sweden another 100 times?
-
Yeah, there are rose-tinted specs - and then there are claims of £13m income every home game and the best atmosphere in world football.

Anyone know where I can gamble, buy a rather damp Saab and some sopping wet leather coats from 1985?

Blow the final whistles now!!

You're just a small postal district in Southampton!

I see a little bit of Saints' history is being demolished in pompey. The Hard Interchange is being knocked down - including the cafe where Bobby Stokes worked in his later years. But there is still NO sign of the sea being reclaimed, HMS Warrior moving or an 80,000-seater World Cup hosting Harbourdome going up on the site, as originally planned.
