  1. There is a god
  2. Nothing will change all the time the major parties just look to score points off of each other and they are brave enough to discuss the real issues such as NHS, Imigration etc without fear of reprisals from the other parties. These are the people with the power to change, instead they choose to have bun fights
  3. We NEED clyne, cork would be a plus but Id be more annoyed at losing him on a free rather than losing him as a player
  4. Excellent article, for me Prowseys ability has been evident for a long time. We have been told that Reed is the biggest thing to come from the academy in recent times but I firmly believe that young James has the biggest ability. Though as a Saints fan its incredible to see two young talents that could easily compliment each other for a good few years. Add to this the growing influence of the young Mr Sims and Seager in the under 21s and its good to see the clubs ambition to have 50% homegrown talent has legs. Prowse is the natural successor to Davis IMO, and with some defensive minded improvements in his game could possibly see him move Davis from his position sooner rather than later, which, considering Davis' obvious value to this team will be no mean feat
  5. He has a contract, so its either pay it up or convince someone to part with some cash
  6. **** knows what will happen now, how many years has he got left ? Surely nobody will take him without us paying the majority of his wages
  7. Didnt think it was unlimited, thought it was four ?
  8. Oh, and Osvaldos loan being cancelled, great news
  9. Another thing for certain is that nobody in they're right mind would put Adkins soley in charge of a transfer budget. It was the beginning of the end for the bloke was the Ramirez saga, not like its not happened before though. Anyone who says it was soley one person or another is just plain wrong Im afraid, though the Ramirez transfer was nowhere as bad as Osvaldo. Ok, Ranirez never really worked out, that happens, kid clearly has talent. But Osvaldo was a massive failure, never looked like he gave a **** and could have really caused damage to morale.
  10. There was yes, it is pretty stupid to think it was all down to just one man, in the same way as its not all down to just RoKo now
  11. He needs to be more composed infront of goal, he doesnt convert enough chances. We need a new striker whether he is converting or not, as without him or style of play is knackered
  12. His positioning isnt excellent and he isnt that tall but yes he has the potential to be very good. How much of a career he'll have for England will depend much on the form on Walker though who, when his head is sorted, is an equally good attacking wing back
  13. He has played 1 game for England, Im sorry Lou, but he isnt the best right back they have ever had at all
  14. The new board are a breath of fresh air, and have done superbly after the torrid start to this summer, they have re-engaged with the fans and breathed new life into the side. Unfortunately a lot of the work done early in league 1 to streamline and forge a better run club was necessary, however there wasnt a need to be as much as a grade a ***** as cortese was. And I do have experience of dealing with the bloke, not easy. I will however say that I believe he had our interests at heart, in a strange way, atleast until the end anyway
  15. Regardless of the fact the bloke was a complete bellend I cant slag him off too much. We were bankrolled by the liebherrs but until Katherina Cortese was the commander and chief and realistically he didnt do a bad job getting us to where we are and laying foundations for future success
  16. I pretty much agree with this TBH If this season we can hold our own against the likes of chelsea and arsenal (only really City have outplayed us IMO) then why should we be worried about champions league qualifiers ? Ok, it wont be easy but surely over two legs we are able to compete against the likes of Lille, Malmo or Celtic ?
  17. Yup Tweet the media team, hopefully you have a good time over here, and hopefully its a bit warmer for you then it is this week ! Where are you staying ?
  18. This really Ive seen Long fill in and he wasnt effective. Not a chance Manè or ellia can fill a pellè shaped hole and I doubt Jay Rod could cover it.
  19. Yup, this We need backup for Pellè, but Sam isnt that man yet
  20. Missed super sunday today, how was thierry ?
  21. He needs to go out on loan really
  22. Attacking midfield, he doesnt possess the natural ability to tackle or intercept as effectively as big vic or morgs but he has the brain to harry opposition in the final third Added to his excellent ability in passing, crossing etc and early signs that his footballing brain from an attacking pov defies his age. He plays like an experienced attacking minded midfielder IMO and think he'll end up an excellent player
  23. This IMO, his game is nowhere near as expansive as Morgans and he doesnt have the pure athleticism either. Very very good player, but more of a little terrier. I have to say it, as good as he is I dont see the 'best player to come out of the academy' just yet.
  24. He has been poor past couple of games, culminating in an aweful performance at utd Playing well today though
