Yeah I can concede that it shouldnt have been his man, the CBs got dragged across like Id explained in a previous post. But he did end up there, and he has to take a responsibility in that situation. As for Chelsea being much better, they couldnt have been much worse. I dont think it was really Davis coming off the pitch, it was a few factors. A tireing long, a chelsea with a rocket up them and Ramires on for a poor Matic are all parts. Now lets not get this confused with me calling on the end of Davis, he adds so much to this team. But he had a poor game against chelsea, thats all.

Ive kept saying this for the last 3-4 years, but nobody bothers to listen. Hopefully people may start to get this situation now because you are spot on. There is also the Tom Cleverley situation, which, although he possibly wasnt as good as one or two other options around the PL he fell into a pocket of able players. And from a coaching point of view it does make sense, in the same way that keeping continuity makes sense. A coach atleast at international level has a very small amount of time to gel a squad and get a team playing the way he wants. This is made more difficult by the fact that club players are coached to a level of carrying out their club orders instinctively. And so, it helps to have groups of players already used to playing together. Its a shame that Bertrand didnt get in though. Along with Clyne and Forster you have you're group, perhaps add JWP into that after the retirement of Carrick (which should have happened in an older player cull IMO). But Steve is right, Bertrand has some stiff competition there, and Shaw is (rightly so IMO) the prodigal son there.

We should be doing much more to get some youngsters big game emgland experience, and there is a bit of a surge for young english players coming through right now. That said, Forster, Clyne and Bertrand should be absolute dead certs for an england berth. Plus Ive been saying for years on here that International strategy is to call up players in 'groups' over individual form. Not that its ever listened too :rolleyes:

Its always horses for courses to a small extent but most teams will have a settled 11, and I include most of the top six in that, Im not a massive fan of major change and prefer consistancy. I can understand the thoughts of leaving out Davis for Elia perhaps, Burnley will be compact so a tad more pace and trickery may make sense. But generally my first 11 will bemore or less the same dependant on form and fitness

I think too many people today want things too quickly and too easily. Has buying a house ever been easy ? I think too many people got too comfortable under the boom and unfortunately are now finding life difficult in the bust. Buying my first house wasnt an easy decision for me, the place was small with no central heating, needed fully redecorating and was in a poor area. Me and my now wife had to spend time together living with my own and her parents, trying to save, we had to take on extra work etc but we got there. There were times we thought of renting, but as I said its just dead money, thats not an option for me unless I have to. VFTT said the other day people know the price of everything but the value of nothing. And I completely agree with those sentiments.

I think that people should avoid to rent as long as they can, unfortunately its dead money. You are effectively purchasing somebody elses property for them. I appreciate its hell out there but what can feasibly be done !? Perhaps the government could come up with some sort of rent suppression property, but I dont see it as a feasible option to be honest

What are you saying ? That we should completely change the world we live in ? Unfortunately, rightly or wrongly these are capitalist times, you take both the positives and negatives of that in the same way as if it were socialist. More houses just means more buy to let mortgagers anyway. More should be done to get first time buyers on the market.

Pretty much it I moved out when I was 21 after saving for a deposit, a two bed maisonette, I was on the bones of my ass, I worked hard to do the place up and get more money behind me, I then bought another place at 25, 3 bedrooms, same situation as before, moving up the career ladder and saving a deposit. I have now managed to buy my third house, one I am very happy with but it needs work and Ive obviously got a bigger mortgage.

Im alright I think, everyones a lot more OTT on a forum then in real life. I let people go at crossroads, let people cross the road. Have a good job, my staff seem like me, people that have worked under me seem to like me. So hopefully Im not too bad a person. You do get pictures of people in your head though.

I wasnt breast fed but have seen my fair share of breasts in my time, does this count aswell ?
