I really cant see how we will get less than 20m for him. His contract situation is largely irrelevant. Despite our incredible performance in the league this year what we have seen is many of the established sides struggling, both in the league and in europe. Football is a results business, and clyne is in the top 5 RBs in the league. Any of the top 6 except for Chelsea would want him.

Maybe, the worst part for me was that Tadic failed to stop the cross and presumeably Davis should have done a better job marking, or atleast making life harder for Costa considering both CBs were pre-occupied. Perhaps he could have come off his line yes, but Id say an unchallenged cross and header were worse. That said, he is hesitant to coming off his line, and he needs help with that. All in all though it was an excellent performance from everyone and pointing blame at anyone is a bit harsh.

I think he is a very very good young player thats out of form. He hasnt hit the heights he hit before his injury, but technically is a very good young player IMO. Davis was very poor today, prowse didnt change much today

Complete brick wall today, immense performance. Im not going to lie, he needs confidence coming off his line as he is clearly hesitant but kicking and reactions are excellent Fair play to him, I doubt we'll see Oldnick
