  3. If they are running away from you its safe to assume that they are no significant threat, after all, if they are running away where is the threat ? As per staying in your vehicle through fear, thats just rediculous, its like something out of Baghdad. The police are there to serve, and until an arrest has been made you are innocent. Should he have run ? Probably not, but is it worth being gunned down over ? Hell no.
  4. Bahave, lets have the 20m he is worth and get a striker that will add something to the way we play
  5. Then whats causing the unrest ?
  6. No he wasnt That said. With the right level of interest there is no reason why we cant get 20-30m for him, what with tighter rules on HG players coming in imminantly. There are a lot of clubs that need a RB at his level
  7. It was made all the worse playing in a defence containing Davenport.. Possibly one of the worst CB I have ever seen for his level (except perhaps for lancashire)
  8. So ? He still has a market value and Utd still have a weakness at RB, a year is a long time for a club wanting success
  9. For the fear that you'll be shot dead by the police ? In what world is it acceptable to have to remain in your vehicle for fear of death ? What on earth allows a police officer judgement to fire his weapon at a civilian that poses him no significant threat ?
  10. Made me lol
  11. I think we need a striker with better finishing and movement, I do agree with you there, but I think its achievable with different personel. My point being, we will lose more due to changing the team shape thenwe will benefit including Hernandez. I think we will stick with a striker more able to play deeper, to hold the ball up and to be a threat, but that player needs to be better infront of goal. I dont dislike Pellè per se, he does a job, but his composure doesnt look like improving any time soon, and thats a worry for me. Personally I dont see Hernandez as the answer, but thats just me and my footballing philosophies, everyone portrays the way the game should be played differently, so who knows what Koeman has up his sleeve.
  12. Agreed, think Austin would do a better job all in all. I really like Ings but for me we already have Jay Rod and to the lesser extent Long to fulfill the role he would potentially play. I think Austin would be a good fit and likley achievable.
  13. All of those players have a more expansive game to Hernandez and none of them are what I would class as a player that sits on the last man. We dont need that sort of player, we need a player like pellè but with a but more composure in front of goal
  14. Nor do I, he is right up there in my list of players of the season for me. Could easily go to a top four team IMO
  15. It all makes you wonder whats being said behind the scenes, this has all the hallmarks of a player that sees his future elsewhere but with the club thinking otherwise for me. I imagine its all come to a head, hence why he was dropped on Saturday. Hopefully it'll be sorted quickly because, as good as Alderweireld is he just doesnt possess the attacking flair of Clyne. I am reserved to losing Clyne this summer to be honest, but aslong as we get a good fee and replace with a goid attacking full back then Im all for it. Its a shame Spurs pocketed Yedlin after the world cup tbh as I think that kid could be mustard.
  16. Montoya, Van der Viel, Byram, Trippier, richards (unconvinced) There are plenty of options out there, if he wants to move on so be it, its been great watching his rise but we just arent big enough to offer what he wants. Offer him a decent contract offer, give him until the end of the season. If he isnt interested then move him on, 20m or so should do it
  17. I genuinely have no idea what point you're attempting to make here
  18. Whats your point ? He is on circa 30-40k at Villa
  19. As a club we wont willingly lose 4-6 first team players again, its basically suicide. We got away with it this year, in fact we have done an incredible job this year, but we would struggle to replicate this summers transfer 'policy' (term used loosely) ever again. That said we dont know what the situation will be with Vic, in fact you could argue we might aswell sell all of our assets with declining contract status (which is pedantically the whole squad) but we wont. Id be amazed if we arent trying to habd out some bigger contracts right now, hence our lack of any meaningful activity this january.
  20. Cheers bear, nice to know someone believes in me
