  1. Says just as much about Pellè as it does Clyne. I like Trippier, or Van Der Weil someone like that
  2. Prefer Bad JuJu to Red death personally !
  3. My point is it doesnt matter. It didnt 'improve' our bargaining position of Morgan, just allowed us to say 'you're not going' that doesnt mean we will lose him for a lot less this season, if he goes than it will be for a decent fee considering his talent. With Clyne they'll be no 'you aren't leaving' it will be a case of how much, and considering the probable level of interest I think we will still be in a good bargaining position. Due to the performance of teams this year they won't wait a year, they have plenty of cash to spend and a home grown player potentially available. If I was saints Id probably say 'this is our price, take it or leave it'. With a bit of spending there is no reason we cant challenge for CL next year, and for that prize its worth gambling on Clynes future.
  4. You could blame the keeper, Tadic, Davis and both CBs if you wanted to. As a coach you can find fault with all of them. And Id argue most coaches will have different ideas of who was primarily to blame due to their philosophies. This echo's fans in general. We all see the game differently. I think the cross should have been stopped at source first, Costa made to work harder second and Forster doing better third. (I could analyse it further if I wanted to) What is in question is his confidence leaving his line. And hopefully Watson can work with him on this as he is an intimidating prescence. Regardless of the defensive shield many teams have breached it this year and Forster has been there to mop up. I cant see a better GK we could sign for reasonable money TBH and apart from a few issues I think he has been a good signing
  5. Meh I disagree there Windows. Shaw is I think worthy of his hype. Not shown it at all this year though, but then from what I have seen of Van Gaal I can see why. I cant see him staying there next year (LVG not Shaw)
  6. Yeah but Im taking that as not an option. Im just saying from a monetary point of view it shouldnt effect much. Forgot about Zabeleta
  7. I saw something in him last seasons pre season. And at the time I was hearing good things about him from the training ground. He never replicated that same explosiveness and directness that I admired. Perhaps he has shown enough in training ?
  8. I said at the time of marriage (sorry Saintweb ladies, Im taken) that shr had to take my name, at first she really didnt want to, and a double barrelled name would have been completely out of the question. In the end we decided that she would take my name and now she admits she wouldn't have wanted it any other way as she feels closer to the family etc My feeling was the same as Bateman BTW. We lose a lot of traditions these days but thats one I think we need to keep, otherwise whats the point of marriage ?
  9. It annoys me how many people dont let people pull out, even if in doing so they wont let the car infront of them, like at a T junction for instance. Coming from someone that tends to allow people out I find it pretty selfish. Ok if you are carrying straight on but if you are turning right whats the harm ? An observation for me is that it appears older drivers are more inconsiderate in this case. And is more obvious than the cost of cars. Interesting study though
  10. I really cant see how we will get less than 20m for him. His contract situation is largely irrelevant. Despite our incredible performance in the league this year what we have seen is many of the established sides struggling, both in the league and in europe. Football is a results business, and clyne is in the top 5 RBs in the league. Any of the top 6 except for Chelsea would want him.
  11. Maybe, the worst part for me was that Tadic failed to stop the cross and presumeably Davis should have done a better job marking, or atleast making life harder for Costa considering both CBs were pre-occupied. Perhaps he could have come off his line yes, but Id say an unchallenged cross and header were worse. That said, he is hesitant to coming off his line, and he needs help with that. All in all though it was an excellent performance from everyone and pointing blame at anyone is a bit harsh.
  12. Yeah still playing, CE and VOG veteran, its boring me right now but Ill always pop on to do the nightfall Have all the exotics I wanted except for nighthawk Whats your username ?
  13. More players in the box is often restrictive IMO
  14. Pre injury
  15. Davis was very poor today
  16. Maybe, schneiderlin has that ability. Ive never seen anything of Reed to suggest he has anything expansive about his game. But has a great energy and tenacity. Id like to see an inform JWP back though personally
  17. I think he is a very very good young player thats out of form. He hasnt hit the heights he hit before his injury, but technically is a very good young player IMO. Davis was very poor today, prowse didnt change much today
  18. Plays a completely different position
  19. Send him out, he isnt good enough yet
  20. Meh, I like what Elia brings, id buy him, good player. Djuricic hasnt done anything to make me want to keep hold of him though. Id like to see tadic pull the trigger more though, has a decent left foot that boy
  21. Very harsh, he had a good game today
  22. He's got you there. I still think we need to take more risks
  23. Complete brick wall today, immense performance. Im not going to lie, he needs confidence coming off his line as he is clearly hesitant but kicking and reactions are excellent Fair play to him, I doubt we'll see Oldnick
  24. [video=youtube_share;OmWu4PTX3vw] There is a studio version of this I have saved on my sky box Beautiful
