You need certain people in certain positions. Adkins, Reed, NC, the scouts, MoPo can all be accountable in certain aspects. Nobody is above reproach from a footballing POV, Arsenal, City and Utd have some of the top scouts in the game and buy the odd flop. Lee and Hoovield were good signings, both fell pray to our rise up the leagues and Lee was also due to injuries. Guly is a strange one on that list as clearly he has been a decent signing from league 1 upwards. Mayuka and Forren have been obvious flops for me, Mayuka never impressed me much whenever Ive seen him, apparantly Forren had some homesick issues and never fit in at the club hence his exit. Ramirez and Ossie ? Clearly have talent, osvaldo is the worst of the two, fruitloop, we took a chance on his obvious quality and it didnt work out. Ramirez ? I think he will come good, certainly looked that way for me before his injury. All in all I cant see how you can argue about whether its worked or not as clearly our rise from league 1 to being amoungst top four form before injuries in a small space of time proves we have been doing better then ok, unless there is an agenda in there somewhere ? Also ignoring what Reed has brought to the club from a sporting sense (academy, scouting, training) is pretty ignorant aswell, unless as stated before, there are other motives ?

Theres a lot of guff on this page isnt there.........

Pretty much, though I really like Oscar, liked him for a while but he is a very mature player for his age. He will be a top top talent. I think its more to do with FFP then most think. As good as he is he is a victim of the system that JM wants to build. Oscar and Hazard adapted their games, Mata and Lukaku didnt want to, hence being offloaded. As per Utd I suppose the opportunity was too good to turn down. They need a top CB and a top holding midfielder to be anywhere near challenging. Carrick is v good positionally but needs legs around him.

Its not really that hard to work out if you bother looking past the 'Im a saints fan I must hate Redknapp' bandwaggoning. Besides, if you knew the half of it you would hate Lowe a hell of a lot more. -

Have you intentionally completely missed the point here or are you really just that thick ? -

So despite being very successful your amazed hecis still coaching ? He is a motivator, a dealer and yes very old school. If I was in his position Id rather have any information available to me to get the job done. If it improves the team by .5% then thats still an improvement. Saying that HR is a poor manager is just short sighted, simpleton nonesense brought on by the fact that because we are saints fans we are supposed to despise him despite the real villain of the piece being Lowe. -
Not sure those two are capable enough international CBs let alone RBs
-
Maybe they have to work harder, but who cares, their job is to be fit enough to perform to a level for a certain time period. They are rigorously checked, logged and checked again. If they pass those checks then there is nothing their employers can say.

Probably shouldnt, they are meant to be professionals. Worth knowing though that they all go through stringent fitness tests and if it were affecting them then they would be told in no uncertain terms to stop. I dont agree with it per se, but if they are fit enough to play you cant argue

I missed that one, thankfully Ive just looked on it to lol at Dune talking to Dune, nearly as funny as Glasgow vs glasgow

He can play further forward

To an administrator I assume it was down to the Pinnacle bid showing real and definate intent and probably a lot of posturing towards proof that they had the money to pay for what they wanted. Was it crouches money that secured them the 2 week period ?
