Agreed but a sizeable chunk of the fulham fee was probably due to the price of the land that craven cottage is sitting on. That and the fact that they seem to think KL is desperate to sell (not sure where that info is coming from) which probably knocks a little off the price aswell.

Indeed, personally I think it helps him to me more effective. A lone striker will always get a fair amount of defensive attention where as playing a little further back allows you to break a bit later and find pockets of space. All things J Rod is doing v well right now

He has shown himself to be a bit of a tit in his short time here with stuff such as 'im right your an idiot', 'you clearly werent at the game' and now his latest and then quite hilariously calling other people out for posting arrogantly Ive said enough on this subject, he was woefull last week, ok first half and woefull 2nd this week but all in all he has a place in the team just probably not as a lone striker in poch's system. Perhaps in attacking midfield. Ossie is about all we have right now in the lone role so MoPo either needs to release the creative shackles (though we created enough today) or look at bringing in another option

As for Rickie, he definately has a role to play in the attacking midfield three IMO but not as a lone striker anymore and for me he has been poor in his last two games.

Great game, but jesus we need to work on finishing on the training ground. The absolute spell of dominance we had meant nothing as we were pretty toothless infront of goal. Lambert started well but faded again, starting to look poor. Cork and J Rod looked v good apart from some of jays finishing The injuries look v worrying though, another poor challenge from brown
