Watching yesterday I think that Cork was primarily the DM and Morgan played the more dynamic game. Incidentally yes he is used more to win the ball then say Cabaye and Toure but of all the CMs in the prem I think they are more alike as seem to play the box to box role.
-
Toure and Cabaye are better because they are just better, not just with the goals they score
-
Just watching the game on match choice. What a magnificent performance, more or less completely outplayed the team top of the table, if it wasnt for some bad luck both in front of goal for us and probably with Cazorla's goal then we would have grabbed the three points. More or less the whole team looked as though they played V well. Worked very hard. Offensively Dhaw was immense however defensively you could possibly point at him for the two goals if I was being picky but it was basically a decent counter by Arsenal with us on the back foot and a lack of organisation. Cork played well, second half seemed to fade a touch but is always available for the ball, keeps it simple and breaks up the play. I personally thought Yoshi and Fonte looked pretty good, a few shakey moments from Maya but all in all he looks an able back up for me, miles better then Jos and its refreshing to see his distribution looking good. Chambers was steady again and Fonte solid. J Rod, Lallana and Davis worked their socks off and played v well, Lallanas touch is magical. Jay needs to work on his shooting and composure, he directs shots well but needs more conviction. SG looked v good for a young lad making his full Prem debut against Arsenal, Im excited about him. Morgan is my MOTM though, looking back to his best from last year tonight, Id love to see how many miles he covered as he was everywhere. Great distribution and great destruction of Arsenals play. All in all v chuffed, we seem to be getting back to our best. Crisis ? What crisis ?
