They pressed us very well second half and Lambert ran out of steam, we didnt have the two or three options we are used to playing with. Dissapointingly nothing was changed and our midfield wasnt desructive enough. Clyne was very poor, lovren just lost his head completely I think.

Yes, ericsson always was quality, underutilised IMO, wonderful little player. Whilst I agree, JWP cost us nothing and is a good player played out of position, ericsson wouldnt have looked much better in DM today

Very very poor from Lovren, he had to be stronger there. His body was in the way both times, you stand up and either move the ball on or clear the danger, not attempt to win cheap free kicks

Lovren and clyne were poor, spurs tightened up second half and took up a higher defensive line and pressed more. Sucked up space and stopped us operating in their half. They started man marking Lambert aswell. Poor really, we bottled it

IMO we need a GK, CB and St as priority so long as we do not lose anyone over the summer. GK - schmeical or Begovic, marshall is also an option CB - shawcross, caulker St - Bony, Welbeck Thats just from the PL From lower leagues I wouldnt mind a punt on Maguirre or Ings but they certainly arent good enough to make us top 6 quality

Really has to be Lambert for me, everytime he has played for England he has looked good and thats because the set up suits him to a tee J Rod will go as a wide man IF he goes, but as others have said Welbeck has his seat on the plane I think.
