Uh no, I think Niemi was one of our best keepers in certainly my saints watching lifetime, Id argue that Boruc is about at that level. He has definately made a few mistakes but essentially Id say a lot of our early season form was down to him aswell. Saying he is a weaklink is madness. He is easily one of the top 10 keepers in this league so long as the Arsenal debarcle doesnt happen again. Saying Manonne is a better keeper is rediculous.

Well, if that were genuinely the reason then fair enough. So often though these things are lost in chinese whispers. Was it cortese ? Or was she sacked by someone else ? Was it because she didnt get his coat quickly enough or was she incompetant and this was the last straw ? Ive heard it all before. Someone says mr X was sacked for not wearing his boots or something to work when in reality he was asked on several occasions to wear suitable gear etc and was given multiple chances that he actualky fails to mention to his colleagues.

I always get a bit sceptical with the firing people on a whim lines. As essentially you only hear the story from the floor, from friends or the aggrieved. You cant just 'fire' anybody anymore. Ive also heard he was quite popular, I suppose it depends where the people worked. Never underestimate how annoyed people get when asked to do their job properly

Well, you have your issues. I know plenty of people at St Marys and staplewood. What he has brought to the club is incredible, and I dont think he is as bad as the picture that was painted of him TBH

I think he knew that he hurt him, as per his face, I agree with that. But you see that challenge atleast every other gane. They were banging on about Oscar and how good he was at tackling and one of his tackles was the same as Browns. He was injured, its unfortunate, at first I was angry but realistically its not a terrible challenge. If he didnt win the ball its a pen or free kick but its definately not a red, maybe a yellow. It was hardly reckless Vidic's was a yellow probably, it was late. Rafaels was the one that should have been a red, all day long

I always look at it from the perspective of if it was a Saints player that was making the challenge. Yes it was a very hard tackle but essentially he didnt go over the top of the ball. He won the ball. Ok, perhaps it could be taken as reckless due to the injury but essentially it wasnt, was just a strong challenge. Rafaels tackle was reckless
