  1. Utter crap Corks much more sound then Davis whos industry helped out immensely but his defensive positioning isnt as good as Corks, yes it didnt help that WBA came at us more after the goal and also Lambert didnt seem available as an out ball even less as the game wore on but ultimately there was a large DM shaped hole in the midfield when cork left.
  2. Same old trolls dangling the bait I see, well done in the main for ignoring it... I think we have missed him majorly, much more defensively minded then cork (who played v well yesterday) and was improving before the injury, needlessly wastes possession at times but allows morgan and the others push on. Getting him and Boruc fit is massive.
  3. Exactly. He looked up atleast twice for that pass and made it, maybe he got a bit lucky but personally I think he meant it. Him and Lallana are our real creative elements along with J Rod with his direct running (not as creative from a passing sense just a destructive sense) I also think he is starting to work harder, as I said before happy to give him 6 months and right now happy to have him in the side. Obviously some just have agendas.
  4. This Although when he headed that ball accross our own box I had to question whether he has ever been taught how to defend
  5. It was adam and he passed him the armband when he went off.
  6. Well I was, I could question whether you were unless its just blind loyalty ? He won some good headers but in the main didnt direct them anywhere, too many slack passes. Was very slow getting back into an attacking position after coming deep. Was not available as an out ball towards he end of the game when we were under pressure. His shooting was off. Yes he controls a ball very well but too often yesterday he controled well, found space but then wasted possession. So no I dont rate it as one of his better games.
  7. If you read their forums he isnt alone TBH and always been surprised by the dullards bemoaning him being lent out, he really isnt that good.
  8. As always a kneejerk reaction to a player on here, clearly I was wrong and Welbeck wouldnt start scoring after getting an extended run as a striker...........
  9. Agreed except for the bit about Rickie, he was terrible.
  10. My bad lol Still, I think Clyne is quality and defended exceptionally today but wasnt his usual attacking self. Very excited about our right flank though as honestly dont think Chambers is far at all from Clynes ability and is only 18.
  11. Completely the way I saw it. Ive also seen Guly replace Lambert late on aswell instead of J Rod as I think J Rod adds more due to his athleticism
  12. Clynesa very good player and defended incredibly well but I did say towards the last 20 mins to sub him for Chambers as today he was poor going forward. Usually Id agree and yes his name is on the plane for me to Brazil but today wasnt his finest.
  13. He aint that quick and certainly isnt anywhere near as good.
  14. Agreed. Its taken to long, he is clearly talented but doesnt fit the system as such, played well today but still IMO doesnt have the workrate to fit in Poch's tactics but has some serious ability. IMO he has the rest of the season to prove it.
  15. You have seen how bad the other two have havent you ? Seriously ? Have you seen them ? As for what you said regarding Stoke, complacent ? Maybe, fresk ? Definately. He, for me is up there easily in or around Niemi as the best keeper Ive seen live for us. Ok, he does a few crazy things but hey, he leads, his reactions are sound and apart from his kicking he is very good. Id suggest you are very very wrong here nicky
  16. This Though I personally think vic missing impacts a lot, Cork is good, V good but Vic adds more to our system. Davis and Gazza are terrible reservists. Boruc leads from his position aswell as being very able in the art of goalkeeping.
  17. Was over in hospitality (I know, free bar though, you wouldnt turn it down either) seemed strong but as far as I saw was his first foul so a tad harsh, cane too soon after their moan about Morgs' foul I reckon.
  18. Whilst I agree, and whilst I believe your a man that knowshis stuff. I think its worth giving him atleast the next 6 months and if we get a big offer then potentially look at selling on. He hassome serious ability, but has the stereotypical foreign playmaker mentality, he works quite hard, but not hard enough. FWIW I think he played ok today, he offered something different from yhe usual take no chances and keep the ball stuff we usually play. At the moment Im v happy that he is an option, he certainly offered more in 30 mins that Lambert did in 90
  19. Were you at the game ? Looked clearly like it ended were he intended it ?
  20. This I said at the time long shouldnt have given him a chance, but he did and Boruc did well, something the other two would have cocked up
  21. Well then the commentator was talking crap
  22. How did Lambert stay on that pitch ? Aweful ! Clynes crossing was off today, other than that he was ok. The baggies came for a draw today, defended well. Cork had a decent game, J Rod looked ok, plenty of effort. Good 3 points Good to have king Artur back
  23. He was bought v young by sunderland and wasted, big big fee if I remember rightly. Big lad, good attributes, hopefully it works for him. Gray deserves some luck aswell, excellent coach and good guy
  24. At certain points yes I agree, personally I think that it is imperetive that we get at least a keeper as the two stand ins are woeful, also and in form yoshi is good enough but for some reason jos is prefered which is v worrying. So in that case perhaps loan in a CB to cover and look at permanent options come summer.
  25. Apart from the fact we dont need a winger or a striker and Bertrand is a Left back ?
