With respect, very thankfull for much of the info you give, this seems too sensitive to put on a public forum.... Pretty sure the club and players didnt want it made public ?
-
Ahh thats true, I forgot that. Watching I remember thinking it was a shame we didnt have Chambers on the bench as Clyne was poor attacking that day.
-
I think its in the stock quote folder Filled under 'foreign players'
-
Id argue they need a back four and a central midfielder before mata TBH
-
Cortese sat on the board of the transfer committee that much is true.... And Id suggest thats about all from that statement
-
Nah, Ive seen Jos try and defend and he'd be nowhere near the striker
-
Well he was injured, and Chambers deputised very abley in his absence. It would have been harsh to drop him straight away. Clyne was back in for WBA and played poorley, so Chambers got the nod for Sunderland. Its exciting to have two very good RBs at the club as there really isnt miles in between them that Ive seen in terms of ability.

Im not saying NC wasnt good for us, clearly the levels of excellence he has brought into the club have been stratuspheric. Its a shame he wouldnt let some personal issues go though or engage wity the fans a bit more. With a few more personal touches and he would have an absolute godsend. I for one am more concerned by the results of my club more than anything else. So I agree we will miss his drive and ambition. Time will tell whether the long term successor will bring the same tenacity to the role. I just hope the new man repairs a few of the burnt bridges from a personal level but arguably more importantly continues the excellent work established in the playing side of the club.

Hard not to argue with that assessment. They are reportedly paying 40m for Mata too, who is obviously a v v good player but Id suggest they need a proper CM, and a new back four first
-
Still sick and tired of the MLT vs Cortese crap, its embarrassing from both sides. MLT doesnt cover himself with glory either, constantly banging on in public. This is a little different though, ok he takes his chance to stick the knife in but realistically as excellent as NC has been for us its just not sustainable or V wise to have one man calling all the shots for an extended period.

Im not entirely sure where your going with this fella.... Adrian wasnt the only one that thought it was bizarre and his Negredo comment was basically the same as you you wrote. 'How much would J Rod be worth if he was still in the Championship and on current form ?' Well, he is in good form but obviously less as its the championship..... Not that I see how thats relevant TBH
-
Walker is better, well, he was, certainly not on this seasons form though he is starting to step up again a tad. Johnson isnt as bad as people make out anyway, Id take Johnson and one of Walker or Clyne to the WC and on current form itll be clyne
-
No way, him not playing is the sole reason we arent challenging for the title.....

This Im hoping our new CEO is just picking which train picture to hang in his office

Meh, liked the last few incarnations and actually like our current kit, was getting so bored of stripes, theres not a lot of variation you can do TBH
-
Straight outta 'how to make friends and influence people Vol 1'
-
A lot of us have said this all along Emphasis is clearly on retaining possession. The fact J Rod scores so many also show our insistance to play off a front man and come from deep IMO
