There would be a value on his head, there was I believe last year. It would be large though, and as others have said he is happy and I imagine we are too so in reality Allardyce can be as interested as he wants, he wont get him.
-
It certainly could be but I can see Allerdyce being the next one IMHO perhaps Mckay for nothing more than the fact that the Cardiff chairman is a bit of a megamuppet
-
1. He will be too expensive for them 2. I cant see him going to WHU anyway 3. He may be starting to become 2nd place but he is clearly still getting and going to get enough playing time

Anyone taken their kids out of term time since the new law?

why does Osvaldo not turn up for 90% of most games?

We did try to sign Lukaku, he wasnt available -
Cheers guys, I try to be honest for you all

From a defensive point of view its easier to mark someone up top on their own then driving from deep, I like him where he is, hassling, defending and breaking from deeper positions.
-
Reminds me a lot of Welbeck, frustrating at times as he will mix in moments of pure brilliance with moments where he should have made a key pass or taken heavy touches. Both of which work very hard aswell to the overall benefit of the team. More and more I see the potential in J Rod and think we could have a very good player on our hsnds.

Dont get quite so much info these days but knew a few people very much involved in the Lowe days including being best mates with an ex managers son. You dont hear so much these days in the new regime but theres always some form of chatter coming out of staplewood if you know the right people.
-
You can either believe it or not its entirely up to you as I couldnt care less, I wont be revealing any sources but I know enough people in and around St Marys I can tell you that the players wife stuff was indeed complete crap aswell
-
Pretty much but I think he not only was sorting out the move but attempting to create it, his interest levels dropped on the training pitch and just wasnt giving it his usual effort.

Spot on Dr Who I agree he isnt as hard working as J Rod and Lallana but those two have been here a while and had the work ethic ingrained in them. One thing we needed was a striker who would be in the right place and the right time when the opportunity came. But overall he needs the ball supplied to him. If you play up front on your own you either wander to get the ball and thus are out of position or stick to position and risk being isolated. It can be catch 22 in a game where our creativity is lacking. Mr X is Ossie your new Ramirez ? -
Needs more lee hughes and mitrovic
-
It was not on but Im assuming you lot are unaware of the overall reasons that the man was relieved of his duties ? And no it wasnt anything to do with anyones missus. He did very well for usand certainly is a decent manager, signed some good players etc but overall is a self important tit. That said moronic chanting probably isnt on no.

If I remember my playground rules wasnt this known as Scramble ? -
RDM is one of those managers, I personally think he is better then the stick thats used to beat him at times but certainly not what I would suggest is a CL winner. But hell, no matter what anyone says he was in charge of cheksea when they won it. He didnt do too bad, steadied the ship, and played on the animosity that AVB created (which was only what was asked of him apparantly) and gave the golden oldies another chance. Still, I agree, would WB take him back ? There are certainly worse options around. But all in all just before the next TW is an oppurtune time, get the new man in to assess and get some players in.

Worth a cheeky bid for Long ?
-
Ive read the better midfield then Utd thread which I can sort of agree woth considering its been basically the source of their poor form. The arsenal one though ? Must have missed that one. A fully fit Arsenal midfield is a joy to behold.
-
Not really that mad, he has had what 7 wins in about 40 games or something and lost a very good goalscorer in Lukaku and replaced him with who ? Nikolas Anelka ? He really hasnt done that well considering the improvements they have been making over the past few years. Also a few decent names on the doll at the moment. Coyle or RDM ?

Because it was the tactic of choice back then, plus the game wasnt as technical. Ive long said that the game is won and lost in midfield and personally would much rather a box to box midfielder arriving late supporting the front man to a front pairing.
