Yup, whoever has managed to fill there infraction quota is allowed to go, the ones that haven't need to stand guard and make sure we dont completely take over the asylum. Sorry Papster, I missed this particular reply. I do understand and thoroughly respect your viewpoint, it does make sense. I am a proud Englishman first and a proud brit second, no I have not done much to help this country be what it is but then Ive done bugger all to help Saints and the national team either but Ill celebrate their achievements just the same. TBF having read through it was Suewhistle that inflamed this thread and not Turks or CB Fry. MLG gets a lot of stick, probably too much but he does bring it on himself. He gets his bloody artist pics of St Marys out like he is on comission and will never back down from his arguements (see any St Marys expansion or FM14 thread). Which is fine, fair enough having the strength of your convictions but jesus christ it gets old. Definately, the few games Ive managed to catch up the pub, busy pubs have been excellent atmospheres certainly better then it has been recently at St Marys, whether its because you are penned in I dont know. Also watched a couple of England games last Euros in Oceana which was very good except for A. Where it was and B. The fact they ran out of beer.

As much as they've had a few dodgy games (so have we) you dont get to fighting distance of top four by being inconsistant

Im playing saturday football again so didnt get a ST this year, I try to get down there when Ive not got a game but if I cant get a ticket Ill make sure I watch a dodgy stream, the same as I did last few years when we played away and I didnt go. Problem I can see for a lot of people is the costs, we still have a reasonable fan base, though not selling out to many times (if any?) this year our ST uptake was pretty good. I imagine part of the reason for the stadium not selling out is partly people thinking they wont get a ticket and partly because it is quire expensive. The average sat at the football costs me around £100 with food, drink, cab etc and match ticket. Personally I think footballs stood up quite well with the influx of on demand streaming for almost every game and a steadily increasing cost of the match ticket. The council is currently seriously looking at regeneration around the area and I believe that a joint venture around St Marys is potentially part of those plans.
